What you can expect

Visit Beijing’s historic sites and see giant pandas on this full-day private tour. Marvel at the diverse architectural beauty of the sacred Yonghe Lamasery Temple, discover giant pandas, and explore the majestic Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Be picked up from your hotel, sit back, and relax as you head to the Buddhist Yonghe Temple. Upon arrival, wonder at the exquisite structural design of the temple and, once inside, pass by the ancient, 85-foot (26-m) statue of Maitreya Buddha, which was carved from a single piece of white sandalwood.

Next, visit Panda Hall for a memorable encounter with the rare giant pandas. Watch as these marvellous creatures roam, interact, and play with each other in an environment replicating their natural settings.

Break for a delicious Chinese lunch before visiting the majestic Summer Palace, which occupies an area of 742 acres (300 ha). Marvel at the complex's traditional Chinese architecture, stroll through the beautiful garden landscapes, and enjoy panoramic views of Kunming Lake at China’s largest and best-preserved park.

After a full day of exploration, your driver takes you back to your hotel in comfort.
