Begin your day with a pick-up from your hotel and a short drive to the Yangmingshan National Park – the only park in Taiwan that offers both hot springs and volcanic terrain. The park is home to the Qixing Mountain, also known as the “Seven Star Mountain.” At 3,675 feet (1,120m), it's the highest peak in the Taipei area.

Breathe in fresh mountain air and take a walk to see the famous sites for volcanic formations: Siaoyoukeng(literally Little Oil Pit), a sulphur fumaroles; Lengshuikeng(literally Cold Water Pit), a barrier lake. Don’t forget to look out for distinctive fauna, including hundreds of different species of birds and butterflies.
