What you can expect

An enormous stone fortress on the outskirts of London, Windsor Castle is a magnificent manor that’s been home to the royal family for 900 years. Visit the even-older Stonehenge, a monolithic archaeological site shrouded in mystery, and complete your tour with a stop in the idyllic city of Oxford.

Your adventure through the English countryside begins when you leave London aboard a comfortable tour bus and head to Windsor Castle. Approach the royal residence by strolling down the Long Walk, the expansive castle ramparts growing in size as you get closer. Tour the interior of this extravagant palace as you walk through the ornate State Rooms and St. George’s Chapel, dating back to the fourteenth century.

Continue on to the ruins of Stonehenge, where gigantic boulders are stacked upon one another and arranged in a circular formation. Listen as your guide explains the many theories and legends behind this ancient site, as the real use for its creation is still not fully known.

The final stop of your tour is in the city of Oxford, where the University of Oxford has been functioning as an important seat of learning since 1249. Enjoy an enthralling walking tour of the city, passing Trinity College, the Sheldonian Theatre, the newly renovated Ashmolean Museum, and the Martyr's Memorial. Stop by the Divinity School, whose Convocation House was used for scenes in the Harry Potter films.
