Description

Famous for legendary sunsets, a romantic evening of breathtaking vistas awaits as you cruise around the caldera, volcano and hot springs of Santorini. Savour a delightful all-you-can-eat buffet and take a relaxing sip of wine as you contemplate breathtaking ocean views to the sound of a live band.

Hop aboard a traditional wooden sailing boat and catch one of the day’s last sunny breezes as you take off into the bay. Your first stop is the volcano in Nea Kameni Island, where you will have the opportunity to climb on top of the volcano and view the active crater.

Next, visit Palia Kameni where you can dive and swim in the hot springs before moving to Thirasia Island. Admire the beautiful seaside towns of Fira, Oia and Imerovigli, known for their white houses and churches topped with blue roofs perched high on the rocky cliffs – a picture-perfect tableau.

Pass the undersea volcano and hear about the history of the hot springs beneath your feet. As the sun lowers toward the horizon, the colours around you change to pink and golden hues. Once it’s disappeared entirely, a buffet dinner of authentic Greek delicacies is served. Sample a delicate vintage of local wine as waves drum a consistent beat against the hull for the live band to follow into the night.

Cruise itself was good, very informative and great hosts. Communication before tour was less than average, we emailed twice to confirm pick up time as stated on voucher with no response, called number but invalid. I ended up having to call expedia to provide an up to date number. We were told that we were not getting hotel pick up as its states but had to meet down the road. Thankfully wasnt far but is misleading. Collection was half an hour late but thankfull it all went smoothly after that.

The food was great. The hot spring was not worth it, we swam around in pretty cold water and no one from the tour could actually find the "hot spring". The hike was really cool to climb.

The cruise activities were nice overall. However communication was a big hassle. We were told to contact the local office 24h before the cruise to confirm details- emailed twice with no response and when tried calling the local number it was out of service, they didnt bother to update their number anywhere. We were left scarmbling till the last day not knowing if the cruise was still on. Finally was able to google and connect with their athens office and given their santorini number. Speaking with them was also confusing but we finally got it confirmed. They were supposed to pick up from hotels but didnt and changed that to meet at a location and given directions yo meet simply at "old medical centre" which a tourist would not know. Googled and figured it out vut also bot told what to expect in terms of pick up so we were confused to the last minute. Once on board it was nice. But not much information was given regarding food and options were limited if any dietary restrictions.
