What you can expect
Explore Victoria's most popular natural attractions on this 2-day tour from Melbourne. Travel along the iconic Great Ocean Road, see the famous Twelve Apostles, witness a penguin parade, and enjoy plenty of time to explore Phillip Island at your own pace.
Begin your journey with a hotel pickup and then travel along the Great Ocean Road. Your first stop is at the impressive Twelve Apostles, limestone stacks that tower above the pounding waves of the southern ocean. Take time to explore the area and enjoy plenty of photo opportunities before the crowds arrive.
Continue along the Great Ocean Road and pass by stunning beaches, cliffs, and rainforests. Along the way, spot wild koalas hanging in eucalyptus trees. In the evening, arrive in the seaside town of Queenscliff and enjoy dinner before resting in your accommodation.
After your breakfast, take time to explore the town and its great surf beaches. Then travel to Queenscliff to board a ferry and cross the channel to the Mornington Peninsula. If you're lucky, you might see dolphins and seals at play.
Arrive on Phillip Island and enjoy an afternoon of exploration in the national park. Stop by the Phillip Island Koala Reserve for a guided ranger tour. Before sunset, make your way to the penguin parade viewing area to witness little penguins crossing the beach, waddling towards their sandy burrows for the night.
