Overview

Byblos has been continuously inhabited for over 7,000 years — the city that gave the world its alphabet and whose name gave us the word Bible. The upper cave on foot — an elevated walkway through formations of extraordinary scale and beauty, stalactites and stalagmites up to 8 metres tall carved by water over millions of years.
