Your first stop is at Kbal Spean, which is an incredibly carved riverbed discovered in 1969 by Jean Boulbet. Also known as “a thousand lingas’ river’’ Kbal Spean is located deep in the jungle to the very northeast of Angkor. Here, you can find lingas have been elaborately carved into the river bottom, and Hindu deities’ images are spotted around the area.
In the afternoon, you will visit Banteay Srey which is situated in the area of Angkor and is a Cambodian temple worshiping the Hindu god of Siva.
