What you can expect

Circle around Philip Island's sights by helicopter with an experienced guide, bagging aerials views of a high-speed race track, penguin habitat, and rugged headlands. Check out pristine beaches and boat-flecked bays along the way, and learn a bit about Philip Island's history while hovering over its most prominent features.

Head to the Philip Island Airport to meet your pilot and climb into the seat of a Robinson R44 helicopter. Watch the rotors blur to life and then take off, banking over Smiths Beach and Surfies Point as you trace the coastline to Cunningham Bay.

Snag bird's eye looks at the Grand Prix Circuit, where beefed up go-carts and full-sized racing cars test their drivers on sharp bends and speedy straightaway. Try to spot the wreck of the SS Speke as you cut over Kitty Miller Bay, and then continue towards Seal Rocks, where seals sun on boulder-strewn headlands and penguins scurry around on nearby Summerland Beach.
