What you can expect
There's arguably no better comfort food than freshly made pasta cooked to toothsome, al dente perfection. Learn how to mix, cut, shape, and fill your own pasta from scratch during this hands-on, chef-led cooking class.
Head to the cooking school and make your way into the kitchen to meet your chef and get introduced to the various tools of the pasta-making trade. Listen as your instructor describes different types of pasta dough and then helps you mix your own dough, striking the ideal moisture balance and consistency.
Craft pasta shapes both with a machine and without, rolling out thin sheets of lasagne, slicing narrow ribbons of fettucine, and stamping fluffy squares of ravioli filled with classic ingredients like ricotta and lemon or basil. Salt your water, bring it to a boil, and then stir fresh sauce into your home-made noodles before indulging in your creations Italian-style with a glass of fine wine.
