Description

Enjoy a half or full day of fun playing dress-up in Japanese traditional garb as you don your choice of kimono or yukata. After getting fitted by expert tailors, hit the streets of Asakusa in Tokyo to visit nearby attractions and cafés in your new outfit.

Kick off your day by heading to Shim and meeting up with a professional stylist. Don’t worry about bringing anything – your experience comes with all that you need to get decked out in local clothes made from the finest fabric. While you get tucked in to a Japanese kimono or yukata (only available during the summer), listen as your stylist explains a bit about the garment's history and the rules associated with wearing it.

Once you're all dressed up, stroll along the streets of Asakusa paying visits to local shops, cafes, and attractions, making sure to snap plenty of photos along the way. Pose near traditional temples and use museums and colourful backdrops for unique souvenir images. When you’re ready to head back, return to the shop and change back in to your normal clothes, getting tips on places where you can purchase your own traditional garments.

My daughter’s dream was to visit Japan and wear traditional clothing. This made her day. The shop was easy to find and the service superb!
