Description

Get your camera ready for a memorable experience as you explore this natural wonder of the world. The gigantic collection of falls reaches across the border between Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay and pour more than 400,000 gallons (1.5 million L) of water every second onto the rocks below.

In the morning, head out from your hotel to Iguazu National Park, where you spend the day exploring the falls and learning about the history and culture around them. See the falls from different vantages, from the lower path that leads to the base of the falls and an upper path that gives you incredible panoramic views from an extensive footbridge.

Next, venture into the tropical forest on a lorry ride that allows incredible views of the wildlife around you, as your experienced guide gives you information on the jungle flora and fauna. When you arrive at Macuco port, embark on a motorboat to cruise through the rapids of the Iguazu River to San Martin Island and the Three Musketeers waterfall.

After you get a chance to enjoy the view of the Devil’s Throat, the giant waterfall that straddles Argentina and Brazil, as well as an up-close view of the San Martin waterfall, convenient transport takes you back to your hotel.

The tour advertised that it would be in English. However we were the only English speaking people on the tour out of about 16 and we received little commentary in English. The tour guide tended to tell all the group to go down a path and be back at a certain time. We were amazed the we did not get lost. The National park and the falls were excellent.

Prompt hotel pick up. Picked up at 7:30 am and dropped of at the hotel by 6:30 pm (supposed to be around 3:30 pm). The tour guide spoke Spanish and had to remind him couple of times that we won't understand Spanish. Also, I told him that I have signed for English tour not Spanish. After couple of hours he started explaining in English gave us directions and plans in English. He was a good guide; took time to see everything. The tour was well planned and executed. Excellent tour even though had little bit of language issue. The park admission fees was 850 pesos; not 160 as advertised.

The tour itself was nice, the guide was awesome but it could have easily be done within 4 hours versus 8. It is just unfortunate that you have to wait around for everyone and spend the whole day versus a few hours
