What you can expect

Embark on a journey that acquaints you with the Hopi tribe at one of North America's historic Native American reservations. Visit 3 regions known as First, Second, and Third Mesa during a tour that's sure to open your eyes and teach you things about one of the earliest cultures known to man.

The 3 regions you explore during this fascinating tour make up 12 villages. Be taken aback by the Hopi people's rich history while visiting the community of Old Oraibi, which, at 1,800 years in existence, is considered to be the oldest continuously inhabited village in North America. Learn many little-known facts at the Hopi Cultural Centre Museum and admire some traditional Hopi artwork. Take a break and enjoy a delicious lunch of either traditional Hopi or American food.

Continue with a walking tour of the 600-year-old village of Walpi. Since the Hopi are a matrilineal society, your tour is led by women who share in-depth knowledge of the history and construction of the village. You return home with very interesting and rare knowledge about this culture that lasts a lifetime.
