Start your day with pick-up from Melbourne CBD by one of our friendly guides. Cross over the illustrious Westgate Bridge and observe enchanting beachside towns on the way to the gateway of the Great Ocean Road. Immerse yourself in local shore culture as you pause to appreciate the renowned area.
En route, inhale the sweetly scented eucalyptus forest while locating the numerous koalas in their native habitat. Stop for lunch (own expense) at the foot of the Great Otway National Park in the seaside town of Apollo Bay. After lunch, wonder at the intricate beauty of the ancient rainforest and marvel at the region’s towering native hardwoods, some of the tallest trees in Australia.
Then it’s on to the legendary Port Campbell National Park and the majestic monoliths of the Twelve Apostles. Take in this natural wonder and be sure to capture this moment on camera. Later on, find yourself surrounded by towering limestone cliffs at Loch Ard Gorge and hear the storey of the legendary shipwreck.
