Whether you prefer great predators or something a little cuddlier, there's something for you at the Featherdale Wildlife Park. With over 2,000 animals, this park is one of Sydney's largest private collections of native Australian animals and bird life.
Get up close to cute koalas and have your photo taken with this marsupial. Hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies and encounter hairy wombats. At the Reptilian Pavilion, come face-to-face with crocodiles, snakes and lizards. Continue to the bird area and admire colourful parrots, little penguins and even large birds such as emus and cassowaries.
Throughout the day, experience live keeper presentations and feeding shows. Learn incredible facts about native animals including the echidna or the Tasmanian devil. You can even take part in farmyard feeding. Other talks feature the penguins, pelicans and flying foxes.
