The English courses at Vamos English Academy have six levels: Beginner (A1), Elementary (A2), Pre-Intermediate (B1), Intermediate (B1 +), Upper-Intermediate (B2), Advanced (C1) Students under the category of Higher (C2) often take individual classes or in private groups, as they have specific goals of preparing for an international exam or are planning to move to an English speaking country. Each level is organised according to the competencies of the students and where they most need assistance to be effective in communication. The advantage of this framework is that it mainly considers what a student can currently do with the language and where he wants or needs to be in terms of ability. Although different parts of the language system (grammar, vocabulary, etc.) are discussed in our classes, our levels primarily indicate the ability of students to function in communicative contexts.
