At the appointed time, we will pick you up in Cusco and begin this excursion to the Chonta Canyon. Along the way, we will stop in a town called Anta, where you will have the option to join a guided tour to Killarumiyoq, an Incan archaeological site believed to be dedicated to the moon.
The tour will then leave Anta and head to the town of Limatambo, where you will have the opportunity to visit the ruins of Tarawasi and admire ancient ceremonial stone altars, known as 'usnu'.
After exploring these archaeological gems, the group will depart for the Chonta Canyon, crossing the Huayronka Bridge. Enjoying magnificent views throughout the tour, we will head to the famous viewpoint.
A one-hour drive will take us to three viewpoints with panoramic views, where you will witness the flight of the famous Andean condor. Being one of the largest birds on the planet, the Andean condor requires windy areas to be able to glide through the air with minimal effort. An extraordinary spectacle!
At the Chonta viewpoint you will have 2 hours of free time to marvel at the spectacular views and unique wildlife, and of course, take all the photos you want! After the break, we will return to the vehicle and begin the return to Cusco, ending a day full of nature, culture and history. Finally, after 12 hours of activity, we will arrive in Cusco.
