What you can expect

Board the PS Murray Princess and cruise for an unforgettable 4 nights along the Murray River. Explore the heritage riverside, spectacular scenery, important indigenous site, and a variety of wildlife as you cruise Australia's longest river.

Day 1 Begin your journey at the historic town of Mannum, the birthplace of the Murray River, while enjoying a welcome drink. Later, while cruising with the illumination of a floodlight, be on the lookout for nocturnal wildlife on the riverbank from your overnight mooring at Caurnamont.

Day 2 Enjoy a leisurely morning cruise bound for Blanchetown, spotting magnificent pelicans, blue wrens, and black swans along the way. Arrive at Salters Station, your overnight anchorage, and visit the Burk Salter Boutique Winery for fine wine tasting.

Day 3 Cruise downriver to Swan Reach, home to many native flower and fruit growers. Enjoy the tranquility of the river on your way to Sunnydale. Here you will enjoy the Woolshed Show, visit the Native Wildlife Shelter, where some of South Australia's most interesting native animals are cared for, and later, enjoy an Aussie barbeque, cooked and served in a bush setting on the river bank.

Day 4 Visit the Ngaut Ngaut Aboriginal Reserve to view ancient rock carvings and learn about the area's aboriginal history. Afterwards, cruise downriver to Younghusband, your last overnight stay, and feast at the Farewell Captain's Buffet Dinner.

Day 5 Enjoy breakfast before concluding your cruise at Mannum.
