During 3 action packed days, our BIG 3 Tasmania tour explores some of our Island’s most scenic and world-renowned locations. Start your journey with a huge day of out at Cradle Mountain World Heritage area, an area with amazing walks and scenery with a huge variety of walks to choose from in this stunning part of Tasmania. The walking options are flexible to suit guests. Travel on wards to Hobart via Wineglass Bay lookout for some of the world’s best coastal scenery. Pink granite mountains form the backdrop for secluded bays, pristine waters, white sandy beaches, local wildlife and walking trails. Lastly the final day will take you to Tasman Peninsula, home to Australia’s highest sea cliffs. Enjoy the views from Pirates Bay Lookout, see the interesting Tasman Arch and Devils Kitchen rock formations and enjoy a walk along the Waterfall Bay cliff top track. Travelling on wards we visit the Tasmanian Devil Unzoo for an encounter with our local wildlife hero’s! Then onwards to the Port Arthur Historic Site where you have around 2.5-hours to explore and walk amongst the history at the world heritage Port Arthur Historic Site.

Know Before You Book

  • Minimum age to participate in tour is 8 years

  • There is no maximum age provided all participants have a sense of adventure and reasonable level of fitness and mobility.

  • Our tours are active and visit National Parks and wild areas that involve some walking. We focus on the “Great Short Walks” of Tasmania. Although most of the walks are classified as easy, a suitable level of general health & fitness and physical abilities is essential.

  • We provide accurate interpretation, and keep wildlife disturbance to a minimum by viewing from appropriate distances and informing our guests how to view wildlife with patience and respect. Activities are always confined to tracks and board walks to minimise negative impacts.

  • We do not provide food or drinks as part of the tour. We do provide an opportunity to stop along the way, where you can purchase a take away lunch, bakery style sandwiches and rolls.

  • We recommend arriving the night before you wish to begin your Big 3 tour as the Day 1 tour departs at 7.30am. On day 2 you will move between Hobart and Launceston this is the day you need to bring your luggage with you.
