We were in New York<\/a> over Valentine\u2019s Day this year, a city that really doesn\u2019t do things by halves, and boy does this city do pink! You\u2019ve probably seen it all over your Instagram and Facebook feed; the cutest, pinkest restaurant to pop up in Nolita is Pietro<\/a>. It\u2019s not just the exterior, either; the inside of Pietro Nolita is wall-to-wall pink. Think a little retro (imagine a diner decorated solely in pastel) meets a lot of pink. Fans of Sydney\u2019s Longrain Restaurant will already love The Lucky Bee<\/a>, given its head chef used to man the kitchens at Sydney\u2019s favourite Asian fusion restaurant. This cute spot is a \u2018family style, Southeast Asian\u2019 restaurant in the Lower East Side. Electric pink and teal decor with a lot of custom neon lights make this a spot to soak up and take in. Share-style plates and an impressive list of cocktails guarantees a delicious and fun night that goes towards raising funds for the New York City Beekeepers Association. The Brooklyn outpost of beloved Alexandria cafe Bread & Circus<\/em> brings a taste of Sydney to New York, with a similar menu and the same Aussies who know how to make you a proper flat white. Set inside a huge open plan brick building, Carthage Must Be Destroyed<\/a> has the same signature pink plates and serving ware as the Aussie original. It\u2019s a little tricky to find \u2013\u00a0but if you make it to the right block and can spot the pink exhaust vents from the outside, you\u2019re at the right place! This brand new store routinely sees wait times of up to four hours \u2013 that\u2019s people standing in line, down a full NYC block, in single digit temperatures waiting to get their hands on cookie dough. Move our Cronut, D\u014d<\/a> is giving Dominic Ansel a serious run for his money in the sweets stakes. There are 12 novelty flavours to choose from, including a classic chocolate chip, cake batter or brownie batter, with additional toppings also available.
