Tucked right underneath the heritage listed building\u2019s sloped roof, the bar showcases some of the region\u2019s best wines and in a nod to the building\u2019s history, is named after the original architects Hennessy & Hennessy. Grab a Barossa Shiraz and settle in for the evening. There are also plenty of French champagnes if you\u2019d prefer \u2013\u00a0perfect for a drink out on the terrace.<\/p>\n Londoners love their pubs so it has to be a very special type of watering hole to steer them off the streets and up into the skyline. The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel\u2019s<\/a> outdoor terrace has a secret weapon \u2013\u00a0a stellar view of the city skyline. The best tables look straight across to the Gherkin and the financial district. On a sunny summer evening, it\u2019s the perfect spot for a few drinks as the sun goes down. Queenstown\u2019s marvelous mountains are an adrenalin junkie playground year round, but don\u2019t worry, if you\u2019d rather admire a mountain peak than climb, bike or ski it, the Stratosfare Bar<\/a> is the spot for you. All you need to do to get there is ride one of the steepest cable cars in the world up 450 metres to Bob\u2019s Peak. Easy! Seriously though, the Skyline cable car safely delivers you to Stratosfare, a bar with 220 degree views out over Lake Wakatipu. Window seat, wine and one of the world\u2019s best views without even putting on your sneakers.<\/p>\n You need luck, skill and a lot of money to get a seat at the big tables in Vegas \u2013 but at Ghost Bar<\/a>, you\u2019re a winner from every angle. The outdoor terrace on the Palms Hotel\u2019s 55th<\/sup> floor has 360 degree views of Sin City. Look down on the crowded Strip from this swish bar\u2019s outdoor or indoor areas. The 14 foot floor to ceiling glass windows give guests inside the bar an excellent vantage point too. So order a Lucky Charm or two and get ready to party.<\/p>\n One of Melbourne\u2019s most exclusive, expensive restaurants, Vue de Monde, might be out of reach of your holiday budget, but it\u2019s sister bar<\/a> is a great spot to sample the finest tipples and vistas the city has to offer. Get dressed up and ride the lift up to Level 55 of the Rialto Building views for a cocktail and canap\u00e9s \u2013\u00a0expect crystal cut glasses, smoking liquid nitrogen and intimate mood lighting served up on the same floor as the award winning restaurant. The highest bar in Hong Kong has one hell of a view.
