I love the restaurant Swiss Chuchi at the hotel because they had good cheese fondue and raclette. However, the cheese smell was so strong that you could smell it throughout the hotel. Another thing the hotel needs attention to is its cleanliness. I checked in twice to the hotel (3 nights+2 nights) in 10 days but twice I found problems in the room. First was hairs in the towel and under the pillow. Second time was dust on the desk, floor, and around the clothes rack. I relayed the dust issues to the reception on the first day of my second check-in but I still found balls of dust on the floor next to the desk on the second day of my 2-night stay of my second check-in. That was quite unacceptable. Hotel Adler needs to pay more attention to its cleanliness if it were to stay at 3-star rating or want to move up to 4-star. Other than the above, the staff were quite helpful in giving directions around the city and to help with moving my luggage up and down the few steps of stairs at the front door. I also liked the fact they provided bottles of water and a coke in their mini fridge daily. I only wish they had better shampoos and provided hair conditioners as well. Last but not least, it would be great if they could alternate the choices at the breakfast buffet (the choices were plenty, but I was a bit sick of them after 5 days). The art in the room was nice and the stay was pleasant in general.
