Our location in the center of the historic quarters of Zurich where the action is warrants considerable advantage. Many points of interest are within spitting distance. The narrow alleyways are full of life. Noise levels are sometimes somewhat higher and that is the reason why we have decided to retrofit our windows with special noise control. Our Alexander Guesthouse is a 2 star hotel and therefore of course a little more simply equipped compared to our 3 star hotel and also higher hotel categories. Our hotel can boast of a privileged location in the bustling center of the historic quarters of Zurich. Lots of local people and foreigners spend their evenings in this area, called Niederdorf, the place of culinary delights and manifold entertainment. It goes without saying that this can raise sound levels in its alleyways to a certain degree on which various factors can have an influence like events organized by the city, weather conditions or eventful days in the week, for that matter. For that reason, our windows have recently been kitted out with purpose-made noise prevention. To warrant that function, windows must obviously be kept closed. Another option would be rooms facing the courtyard. If you choose to go for that, kindly mention it when making your room reservation. We hope to welcome you as a guest again. Due to the central location of our hotel customers save time in that important places like the railroad station, our famous shopping street called Bahnhofstrasse, schools, the university and what have you are all within walking distance.
