This was a great experience! Greeting was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and contemporary. The setting was peaceful and everything was supplied. The shared kitchen and lounge area with coffee machine was great. This was a real hidden gem and we will return.

My fiancé and I stayed in one of the lodgings which was absolutely beautiful. Very clean, comfortable and relaxing - perfect for a weekend getaway. The whole house is so well lovely and charming. Rachel made our stay very relaxing amd easy!

We stayed in the villa with a garden view and it was so nice to have our own little area. We loved that breakfast was available, you can say that the hosts are very thoughtful about the needs of their guests. They had fresh juice, milk, eggs, bread, yogurt, fruits, beans and jams for us. There's a dryer as well as ironing board available too which was very useful. The towels and bath robes are of great quality and the room looks and smells great.

Very helpful and friendly hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Staying on the property is perfect in all seasons- fire place when it’s cold or outdoor swimming pool when it’s hot. We stayed with kids and they loved it, too.

It our surprise it was exactly how my wife keeps our place, not cluttered and way too many choices of what to have for breakfast Very comfortable bed and spacious and very clean

Highly Recommend
We had a wonderful stay at the Araluen accommodation. Our villa had everything we needed and was the perfect size. We particularly enjoyed the small touches, such as the beautiful bath products, high quality towels and bed linen, along with freshly laid eggs for breakfast. I would certainly recommend this accommodation to anyone who wishes to stay in the Yarra Valley.

Beautiful rooms and the common area was both beautiful and functional. Spent a lovely afternoon in front of the wood fire watching the AFL grand final on a large screen TV and just enjoying not doing anything in the peace and quiet of what is Araluen Boutique Accommodation. They also provide all that is required for your breakfast, which is a lovely touch. We felt as though nothing was too much to ask as our hosts were available and eager to assist to make our weekend perfect.

Peaceful Paradise
Accomodation was lovely!! Very clean, peaceful and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and so nice to watch the sun come up in the privacy of your room. The only slight downside was that it is difficult to get around if you fancy a glass of wine but that’s the case in most places in the Yarra valley! This in no way ruined our weekend!

A True Gem!
Araluen was a true gem in the Yarra Valley! My husband and I stayed for two nights and were able to access many delicious restaurants and see the beautiful scenery throughout the valley. Rachel, the owner was very welcoming and provided suggestions for good restaurants and things to do in the area that might be of the interest. The property was beautiful and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Araluen to someone traveling to the valley for peace and quiet and a dose of natural beauty!

Relaxing stay

Beautiful place to stay with your partner. Everything in the room was new and clean , just like the pictures you see . The grounds around the villa are kept clean and the views are beautiful. Very friendly staff. I would love to stay there again.

We wanted a nice secluded place to stay for our wedding anniversary and found Araluen tucked away in beautiful gardens and peaceful surroundings. The room was spacious and included fresh and tasty breakfast choices and all the comforts of home. Our hosts were a delightful couple who couldn’t do enough for us. This was our luxury escape and we will be back.

Outstanding Accomodation
A beautiful boutique accomodation in the middle of the Yarra Valley. Very close to wineries, gin distilleries, restaurants and overall beautiful countryside. Rachel made us feel extremely welcome and the amenities were outstanding. Throughly recommend to stay here if you are in the area.

Fantastic place in the Yarra Valley
Great place to stay and use as a base to explore the Yarra Valley. We stayed in a Hilltop Spa Villa, clean, private and modern villa with gas heater and underfloor heating in the bathroom. Rachel said we were free to get some eggs from her chickens, so we used the nice little kitchen to make our breakfast and had it on the balcony. Easy check in, friendly host and great accomodation, highly recommended.

Gorgeous place, charming host
We stayed at Araluen on a wet, windy weekend. Just perfect for a bottle of wine in the spacious lounge! Rachel, our host, was attentive yet unobtrusive, providing umbrellas and offering to transport us to our winery destination. I would prefer breakfast in a common dining area rather than in our room, but that is simply a personal choice....everything provided was top class, with extra provisions magically appearing as needed. Thankyou for a delightful weekend away.

Beautiful and Luxurious romantic getaway
Fabulous stay at Arulen on the night of our wedding and recovery. Lodges were beautifully fitted out with great furniture, amazing spa bath, super comfy large bed and delicious breaky supplies with local produce. Rachel and Neil - were great hosts - going that extra mile to making our stay easy and very comfortable. Picking us up in their car after the wedding and recovery. Looking forward to staying again in the future for our anniversaries. Lodges were tucked away in beautiful bush so you felt quite secluded but a quick drive to local town centres. Highly recommend!!

A place of comfort and peace
Well appointed with every comfort we felt embraced in our "own" cottage overlooking a little pond. The Kookaburras sang and my husband was fortunate to take a wee walk and saw several kangaroos too. We had a nice hike to DeBartoli and ate well here and there. The nearby Auraluen Gardens were spectacular and we also enjoyed Healsville and the Sancturary as well. You can't helped but be pleased with this lovely spot.

Lovely villas
The place was easy enough to find with nice clear and lit up signage. We were warmly greeted by the owners and showed to our villa all whilst getting a nice overview of the property and a bit of back story. Such a beautiful room and nice and quiet. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Hidden Gem
We were excited driving out of Melbourne, to find Araluen tucked away in the Yarra Valley, away from hustle and bustle. We were welcomed by Rachel who showed us to our unit. The unit was very clean, with fantastic views over the Yarra Valley. It had all the facilities we needed for a nice weekend away. She recommended some local restaurants prior to our arrival, and provided us with details of a local driver allowing us to enjoy food and wine without having to worry about driving back to the accomodation later that night. The surroundings grounds of the property are great. It was too cold however to use the pool, but on warmer days it must be a fantastic addition to the stay.

Great villa with great views and location
A Magnificent stay. The villa was clean, modern and had great views. Rachel was the perfect host. Location is perfect to see Yarra Valley and outskirt towns. Not too far from outskirts of Melbourne, wineries and other regional towns. We will definitely stay here again. We stayed in the Hilltop Spa Villa.
