Overall, I was pleased with this choice as it was just close enough to central Wilmington to be convenient but not right in the center (eliminating noisiness). I also loved the room amenities including a Kuerig coffee maker (not the most eco friendly option due to single-use pods, but it makes a reliable cup of coffee), the reusable water bottles and filtered water, and the bathroom products are all a plus for this hotel. The room is very cute, comfortable and clean, though we like to watch tv in bed and the tv in our room is located in the living room. I also would have preferred more accessible live tv programming rather than Roku (for the less tech savvy, this is one of a few features that might be off-putting). The room was quiet overall and I appreciate the fact that there is a strict noise policy. That said, there was a recurring humming or buzzing sound that caused some temporary noise. Luckily, it went away by the time we were ready to sleep. I am not sure if it was the sound of fans in other rooms or some other mechanical feature in or outside of the building. Also, I did not see any elevator on the property. It was ok to lug our bags up the flights of stairs, but I can't imagine everyone (including the disabled) would be ok with this. We opted to park in the lot across the street, and the lot is gravel (not paved) which is a little tough to use with roller luggage. In spite of minor issues like these, I would recommend the hotel and would stay again.
