Comfortable and delicious food
Greeted and had our suitcase carried to the room. Very comfortable and spacious room with all one could need, including complimentery bottled water. Appreciative of having large bath sheets rather than smaller bath towels. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice, and well presented. We ate dinner there too and that was equally delicious. Excellent service from all staff. Please note that The Selsey Arms is not in Lavant but in West Dean!

Great location when visiting Goodwood
Enjoyed a lovely stay at the Kelsey Arms. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent with a good choice. Stayed for one night whilst visiting the Goodwood festival of speed. Ideal location for Goodwood, ample free parking. Would definitely recommend this property.

Super, friendly pub, restaurant and delightful rooms. Great location for Goodwood Racecourse - just a very short taxi ride. Excellent value for money.

Exactly what I wanted. Somewhere to stay with a good breakfast, after going to the wedding at the venue a few hundred meters away.

Good but needs attention.
Nice pub and food good. Ok for a stop over 1/2 nights. Our room was showing signs of ware and tear. Wardrobe base broken jamming draw below. Bathroom smelt musty/ damp. It’s a shame as with a little attention to detail it would be nice. Silicone sealant was appalling. But it was functional.

Wedding trip
We attended a wedding in a nearby venue which The Selsey Arms was in an ideal location to. The room was good although quite small and just a skylight view, there was another window but this was at our floor level as we were on the top floor (eves of the barn). We had a lovely meal in the pub restaurant one night and the service and food were excellent and good value. A good location to explore Chichester town also.

Just stayed the one night whilst attending a wedding party nearby. Very nice , warm and comfy room and powerful shower. Breakfast next morning was perfectly cooked, piping hot and very tasty. Would definitely recommend to anyone..

Friendly staff, great food. Bus stop right outside the pub. Rooms lovely and clean. Nice walks available, short drive to Goodwoid racing, though if you want a cab for racing, book well in advance.

Staff were great and lovely feel to the place. Bit disappointed the room hadn’t been cleaned properly - old bag of crisps behind the bedside table, much on table, TV not tuned and didn’t work, bathroom light on the floor etc. But still a lovely stay and amazing staff and friendliness

A long wait.
In general very good and after a very efficient check in with very friendly staff we enjoyed a light snack in the bar where the service was very good. However breakfast was very slow, we arrived at 8am and being the only customers we ordered quickly a full English and a scrambled egg and mushrooms but it was over 40 minutes before it arrived, and the rest of our party had an equally long wait. In total there were only 9 people in the restaurant. Hopefully this is not their usual breakfast chef.

Fantastic stay! The owners and staff were extremely welcoming! We arrived quite late in the evening and the kitchen was closed but had no issue with putting the fryer back on to knock up some chips as we were starving. Lovely full English in the morning for breakfast

Really enjoyable stay. Very friendly staff both on arrival and throughout my 2 night stay. All covid procedures adhered to. Room was clean and plenty of room with en suite and excellent shower. WiFi connection in room and throughout the premises. On site pub food was brilliant and good choice. Also some real ales on tap.
