This property is spread out over a very big area along the esplanade. It has as various wings and many different options to stay. We stayed in the premium harbour view room however it was disappointing that the view from our room 2110 was blocked due to some trees right infront of the room. This I assume would be be the case with some of the other rooms too. I feel that it is unfair to call them premium harbour view rooms and charge those rooms same as the ones which have the proper full view of the harbour as you are paying extra for the views only! Rooms are not cleaned everyday. Otherwise the property is okay.

Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere Romm needed major renovations. Carpet was worn and dirty and the room was musty, porch terribly worn and peeling paint. But the worst part was the staff. The property advertises internet in all the rooms, which simply is not true. The staff is aware of this and didn't care one iota. They were indifferent about it and unwilling to make any accommodations about it. They did promise they would let supervisors know about it and would have them contact us, which never happened. There are much nicer and less expensive places in town to stay. Do yourself a favor and pick one of those.

We stayed in the executive spa rooms on the waterfront . Excellent value for money . very clean and well looked after . The view from our balcony was stunning! Highly recommend . Staff very helpful

The room was dirty and dark. The noise from neighbouring guests was very loud. The wine glasses in the room were dirty and there weren't sufficient towels. Very disppointing. We dined at the restaurant and the food was average at best with blow flies throughout the restaurant - OVERPRICED FOR THE QUALITY.

Lovely location but room average
The town is beautiful and the hotel appears to own much of the property. The room itself was awkward and needs updating but it was clean. The balcony was tiny but had a lovely view. There is no ac or screens on the windows to leave open. Overall it was fine for a night or two.

The room that we stayed in was one of the highest in the village and the view of the bay and surrounding headland was spectacular. Everyone both staff and guests were so friendly which surely means that everyone there was happy to be there. It is so conveniently located and everything is just there at the end of the boardwalk. We had a great holiday. Thankyou to all the staff.

The rooms was so lovely fantastic view of the harbour. Nothing was too much trouble the staff were helpful and friendly. The room had everything you needed attention to detail immaculately clean.

We stayed on a Saturday evening. The door to our premium king room did not lock. We noticed this at 10pm at night, we contacted reception. He came to check we asked for the equivalent room but were advised there wasn’t one available but if you ask the staff member he will tell you there was and we refused to move. We were advised on earlier conversations that the hotel was booked out so you make of that what you will. He refused to provide any monetary compensation to us and when wot if contacted him he told them a completely different story, which I called and spoke with him about and was met with a very rude attitude. He offered breakfast as a good will. Do not waste your money on the breakfast buffet!!! There are no robes in the room as per the wot if website & it states soundproofing which I can assure you is not the case. For a small town that relies on tourism it’s very disappointing to have received that kind of customer service.

Nice location right in front of the waters. Our room, at the hilltop was very dated, no air conditioning and room looks run down. Bathroom and shower could do with a revamp. Hot water is intermittent and water pressure lacking. Bed itself was comfortable enough. Carpet could do with replacement too. So much great potential which I think this place should really utilise and do a much needed revamp. Tourists I am sure will be very much attracted and be very appreciative.

Perfect One Night Stay Over in Strahan
We had a pleasant check in experience as we weren’t sure if they allow for early check in. The staff who received us (a lady from Finland) was very courteous. We had a free upgrade of room. Overall, the room condition was excellent, cleaned and new. For those who pass through Strahan, go for this hotel and you will never regret it.
