We love this property and is our go-to place when we visit Waikiki. However (as of August 12) they're going through renovations and there were a few inconveniences during our stay there. For example, water in the rooms are shut down on a rotating basis for several hours beginning at 10. Construction noises can also be heard in the morning and throughout the day.

Extremely disappointed with the condition of our room as 1/3 of the floor space was soaked in water due to a leak in the A/C. The resort fee was waived, however I’ll be taking this further with the GM.

Staff and service were excellent! My wife and I were in our honeymoon and felt the front of house went above and beyond to make us feel special. The only negative I have to say was the renovations being underway upon our stay but it didn’t take away from the overall expectional service from the Sheraton

Great stay with the family. Would recommend this hotel. Best hotel in the cleanest and safest location of Waikiki Beach.

The Good: Nice property with beautiful décor, great location for restaurants and shops and best beachfront pool on the main strip. The Bad: The $37 per day resort fee was a surprise, especially since the hotel is undergoing major renovation with jack hammers running non-stop from 9am and no water in the guest rooms daily between 10am – 2pm. No advance warning about the ongoing construction and no reduction in room rate or resort fee due to the inconvenience. The Ugly: If your anticipating a relaxing trip where you can shower on your own schedule or retire to your room for a mid-day nap then forget it. Apparently hotel demand outweighs any concerns with guest impact because the only response from the hotel is a scripted apology delivered in a bored manner from the desk at check in. Recommendation: Save yourself a few hundred dollars and stay at one of the newer major chain express hotels located a block up from the beach. The property may be smaller but everything is new, the rooms are just as nice and you won’t feel as burned if presented with some unexpected inconvenience.
