The Motel was fine. Wotif needs to get its act together. It was supposed to be a booking for 1 Adult and 4 children. You told the Motel it was 2 Adults.

Clean try and spacious room Whilst the the building is of an old style the fixtures and fitting were reasonably modern. parking for large trailer and caravan is extremely limited I was able to negotiate an overnight park for both my large trailer and car. this may not always be possible. Thank for a comfortable and plesent 4 day stay

very clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were helpful and pleasant. It's an older building so don't expect the latest and greatest but the room was pleasant and I would stay there again.

This motel just does the job. A place to sleep, which was quiet & relatively comfortable. Check in is very impersonal - weirdly through a screen and small window. Like a Covid hangover.

The staff here are incredible. It is the perfect place for an overnight stay on a road trip, even better that it is pet friendly!

I chose this place due to it being pet freindly. I thought the price was a little steep but booked in anyway as a necessity. After paying 3 night accommodation through Expedia the motel emailed me directly saying it is an extra $60 per night since I had the pets. So glad I told them not to even worry about it and I would find alternative accommodation for the pets (at least THEY ended up being comfortable for the 2nights I was there.) To check in I had to pick up a phone. It was visibly filthy, which is funny because their reasoning for using the phone and glass windows instead of letting you in to reception like a human being was covid safety! (Get a new phone, if you are going to keep this method of check in!) Then I was sent back out on to the street and around the corner to get to my unit. This was inconvenient due to the traffic being heavy had to go up a few hundred metres, turn around, then go back just to drive around the corner. Upon opening the door to our unit I was filled with nostalgia, and not the good kind! The unit reminded me of my very first property 20 yrs ago -old, basic, and bottom of the barrel, even back then! I was grateful for the comfy lounge especially since the beds were uncomfortable. (When a 30kg kid is uncomfortable you know the beds are bad) Not the worst place I've ever stayed, but not far off!, Having stayed in many many accommodations over the years I definitely would not consider this to be anymore than a 2 star accommodation.

Thankyou for your review. It seems we got off to a bad start by advising you of our pet fee of 30 per pet per night. Please note that our pet charges and pet conditions are clearly displayed under policies on the Expedia extranet site. You must have missed them. Thankyou, for your other comments, our budget accommodation may not be new but it is clean, affordable and comfortable and provides a comparably inexpensive alternative for cost conscious travellers. Thankfully, our property is gratefully received by most of our other guests. Perhaps in the future you need to book higher quality accommodation and pay the higher tariff to accommodate yourself and family and 2 large dogs.
