Not worth the price.
Good points: - Staff is friendly. - Room service price is good ( food, drinks...) Bad points: - Facilities are old and not functioning well. ( Lamp , lightning bulbs are not working). -The cleaniness is not good. Bedsheet and pillow covers had dirt on it.

Was disappointed with the breakfast buffet. There was quite a large family staying downstairs who were running between rooms this was extremely disappointing as my partner and I were both unwell. And to finish it off we booked this resort based on the fact there was a pool bar, when ee arrived it was noted that it had not been active in quite some time. It was quite a uncomfortable stay.

The bathroom curtain is broken, not cover well enough, the back can able to see you when you in the bathroom or taking shower.th second bedroom is only 2 feet from bathroom door, right in front of your face and if someone in bathroom you can able to see through the glasses door of the bathroom., the lay out of the resort is kind of odd. From the front resort you have to walk through the back and further in to get check in, and then you have to go out and go further in the back and up to the hill road and stair to get into your room. I don't think it is good for the old people to walk and with luggages. The beach is infront, but this hotel location No access to the beach and this area is not for swimming, so many rocks, you have to walk for 300m to get to the way to can get access to beach. Breakfast is good, lot of food. But for the amount of money i paid for rhe room, i rather pick the Malibu hotel is half of the price i paid for the resort with everything is modern. I don't think i will come back.

Room was ok. Lovely gardens. Food was terrible. First night we arrived at the buffet at 7 pm and there was nothing left. Second night we arrived at the buffet at 7 pm and there was plenty of food left but it was all cold. Not impressed considering what we paid.

GREAT OCEAN VIEW HOTEL NEAR TOWN
This is a wonderful hotel 2 km from town. Quite with great views of the ocean. Great swimming pool and gardens. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great restaurant and coffee shops At the hotel or nearby. Great for walking on the boardwalk along the ocean toward the cable car or continue all they way into town to the local beach less than 1 km. This is not the hotel if you want to be in town for night life but you can always take a taxi into the center in a few minutes. Mainly business people during the week and Families for weekend from Saigon. Good internet and good breakfast .

Paid extra $20 to get the full sea view but only got partial review, when complained they showed other rooms with similar view. Was told that the property does not have full sea view rooms.

You're not going to get what you're paying for...
The staff was friendly, but the cocktails were generally really bad and the service was insanely slow. Any food you order will take a long time and I had to re order my dessert 3 times, I ordered ice cream and it took them 30 minutes and me asking what was taking my ice cream so long before they told me they were out of that flavor, so I ordered a different flavor and they brought me the wrong dessert altogether, then they brought me the wrong flavor again and I just took it because it had been well over an hour and I was tired of waiting. The room looked a bit worn, not in the condition you'd expect from a 4 star. Also, the hotel is on a massive hill and the nearest walkable beach is a couple miles down the street. You can find a nicer hotel for a lot less than the $73 a night a spent here. I expected more for what I was paying. Not a terrible hotel, just terribly overpriced.

Beautiful villas, nice location, great ocean view, nice gardens, very nice swimmin gpool, varied breakfast buffet, good quality food, quiet, bit of a climb to get to the rooms. Only thing I ddidn't like was the mattress... too soft and old, not comfortable for two people to sleep on as both would fall towards the middle...

Gave me the wrong room and wouldn't change it!
I paid $100 a night for a place that REFUSED to put me in the room that I PAID for. Also, they would not do a late check out. Not even a minute over. If you want to get treated like you're staying at a 1 star Hostel...then by all means, stay at Seaside. But I will NEVER go back there. And I live in Vietnam, so I know that this is NOT the way most hotels treat foreigners.

Very nice hotel to stay next to seaside.
I would love to come back to stay here again. It was a wonderful stay and very quiet and relax. Good foods and good location.

Rundown hotel not worth 4 star
Pool and breakfast were nice and the location was good. However, the room was outdated. The bathroom had bad sewer smell especially in the morning. There were few big mosquitoes in my room. Also, I had to pay extra for my room because my kids were older than 7. I booked premium room and it has 2 queens bed. They didn't provide any thing extra. When I asked the front desk what is the reason I had to pay extra. They said that because they have to provide more personal stuff because the kids were older than 7 which was not mentioned when I booked with Expidia. I wouldn't recommended this hotel to any one. It is not worth 4 star hotel.

Stunning view, comfortable rooms
We booked 2 rooms (1 with partial view of the sea, 1 with garden view). We would highly recommend the room with ocean view as the view was lovely. The hotel is allocated at Bai truoc so it is much quieter at night, but still close to everything. The breakfast buffet was good, but more staff was needed to clean up the tables.

Poor management and careless staff
Decision has been made to keep all light on during the night and you feel like sleeping during daylight. I have ask them to shut it down at night, they didn't do it. Curtain are not enough to cover the light. From 6AM, the loud music is going on If you are sensible to noise, lights and want to rest over the weekend, avoid this place.

Lovely view from our Hotel room but too many stairs (if your elderly) and a hill to climb to the room. The staff were great always smiling and very help full.

Comfortable and clean. Great views of the ocean, loved watching the ships coming and going. Pool was lovely, clean and well maintained. Restaurant was average, expensive and staff didn't understand English at all.

Don't trust the front desk
First off, don't trust the front desk. They are either incompetent or scammers. I wanted to wait until my issue was resolved but it's been three weeks so I decided to go ahead and write my review. I stayed at the hotel on 07/01/16 The issue: the hotel charged my credit card TWICE. I prepaid for the room through Hotels.com and brought this up to the reception desk when I was checking out. The desk clerk looked my email confirmation and kept telling me that it was only to reserve my booking. He was not listening to me even after I told him several times to look at my reservation. He refused to return my passport unless I paid. Later I called and brought this up to their attention and they acknowledged that they indeed charged me twice. The receptionist said that he could not do anything and that he would have the manager call me back the next morning. No one called so I called back. I was told that they see the two charges and that they need to get this approved by the accounting group and that I would get my refund in a few business days. One week later, nothing was refunded. I called Hotels.com and informed them what happened, they were kind enough to give me a $25 dollar credit and called the hotel for me. They got the same response "accounting department has it and that I would get the refund back." Another week passes, and I call Hotels.com. They call the hotel and again same response three times. It's now 07/23. The hotel is incompetent.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The location was a bit isolated as there were no convenience stores nearby to buy a beer, or milk, snacks, etc. Everything was about a 100,000VND cab ride away (beach, shopping, restaurants). The pool was great as it also had a sizable pool for small kids. The view of the sea from our room was awesome.Felt very safe and secure on this property.

I have stayed in many hotels in Vung Tau and Seaside Resort was one of the good for value for money. Breakfast was good with many variety of choices. Free Wi-Fi was excellent. Will definitely choose this hotel next time.

The overall stay was good. It was slightly far from the main beaches but a 15-20min walk will get you there. Staff was overall okay but the room was clean and the pictures accurately depict what you get. Would recommend.

A peaceful week in Vung Tau
Overall the stay was great, service staff in general are very friendly and helpful. However depending on whom was on the front counter at reception at the time you needed something or some information English could be rather interesting at times. Rooms kept very clean and tidy on a daily basis and a never ending supply of fresh fruit in the room. Handy to have the Seaside Café at the entrance of the hotel to sit and watch the world go by, it can get a bit noisy here at times, however that is the Vietnamese way.
