Jade Oasis/ Nene room with hot tub 2.5 miles to the Volcanoes Park

The property is a 6 room motel built in a u-shaped design. Each room has a separate entry and lanai with table and chairs looking out to the forest. As you enter the forested driveway that leads you to the house, you will know you are someplace very special. The entry gates open to the courtyard with a 6 person hot tub in the center. Each room has Batik bird of paradise bedspreads and matching chairs on the lanais. Each room has a coffee maker , coffee and tea, mini fridge and microwave. We normally supply coconut milk and blueberry granola also.

The host and hostess were very friendly and helpful!! The location was close to the Hawaii volcano national park and several choices for restaurants and groceries. The location was quiet and off the beaten path. If in volcano, Hi, will reach out to John and Joy for lodging! Aloha!

Jade Oasis is Great
The hosts were gracious. The extra touches of water in the room to say nothing of how wonderful the muffins and fruit were. More than expected!

On arrival, the bathroom had #2 in toilet, tub had a big hairball and dirt, hand towel was dirty and smelled terrible. Dirt on the floors. Room had a very musty/mildew odor. The fire detector had been removed from the ceiling and inoperable. I'm pretty sure this violates firecode and is illegal to rent a room without. The driveway into and parking lot is a very rough, unkempt gravel. I don't recommend this property.

Wonderful overnight stay
John welcomed us and we were in our room quickly. Large room with in suite bathroom was wonderful. Patio was really nice to sit at during the evening and morning. The muffins and fruit were really great for breakfast. Although the bed linens were very nice, they were damp to sleep in. I would stay again.

This property was a short drive to Volcanoes Park. It was a quiet property with charm. The hot tub was a big plus after a day of hiking.

Nice quiet, enjoyable stay.
The ONLY complaint was that one of the blankets smelled of mildew. However, the area was very humid in general during our stay so we simply didn't use the blanket. It was a nice place to shower and sleep after being out all day. The beds were very comfortable. The fresh fruit and muffins were very enjoyable in the mornings before taking off as well. The property was very nice, quiet and quaint. I would recommend it to others as we would stay again.

After long hiking on the volcano, it was wonderful to come back to a hot tub! Also, super friendly host and other guests who recommended a great restaurant in Volcano and insisted we go back to see the volcano at night. Holy moly! That was probably the highlight of our trip.
