Nice place in the mix of a busy area
We enjoyed our stay here. It was cute and clean. As most of the reviews say, it’s in a busy area and the music and roosters are loud. The fan is helpful in drowning out the noise though and the heat pumps keep it comfortable. The ants are there but as long as you don’t leave food out, they don’t bother you. The host was helpful and communicative! Thanks again!

Vieques Heaven
This is a great apartment with lots of room. A quick walk to the ferry in Vieques and to the shops and restaurants in this area. Nice sheets on the beds and plenty of towels and beach chairs. A tidy little kitchen, but we ate out. Great local bakery right next door. A couple of nice outdoor tables and chairs in the back yard. Would definitely stay here again.

Needs an electrician - unsafe electrical wiring
While there are nice things about the property, we’re astonished by the unsafe electrical wiring throughout the apartment. The stove/oven is plugged into a lightweight extension cord running on top of the counter and back of the kitchen sink. Because there is a shortage of outlets, the place is a a maze of extension cords. There are open gaps between some of the outlets and walls. Some wires go through holes in the walls to the outside. The place was clean and cute and the host provided beach chairs and towels. The AC worked well. The kitchen is minimally stocked. Overall a decent place and good value, but the place needs an electrician to properly wire it.

Great location!
My husband and I stayed here for one night with our three boys, 16, 12 and 9. The apartment is quaint but exactly as I expected. As others have said, the street noise is loud but it wasn't an issue for us. Our kids slept through it and it made for a more authentic feeling trip! Location is awesome, close to everything including a great pizza shop and a bakery with an amazing latte. We wished we had stayed a few days longer.

Great for a family overnight
The property was great for what we needed, one overnight stay on the island so we could bio kayak Mosquito Bay at night. Property is an easy walk from ferry terminal and food. The only thing renters should know is this property can be loud if you arent a heavy sleeper. Chickens crowing, dogs barking, and cars blasting their music (which all seems pretty standard for most places in PR)....and the windows are open air, so no glass to keep the noise out. One room has a fan for to drown out noise, but if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. The host was great and communication was outstanding!

Great location, great space!
We had a great stay and found it to be in a very walkable distance from the ferry building with a lot of restaurants close by. If you plan on going to the bio bay/best beaches a taxi or rental car is essential, but that’s normal for any stay in Isabella ii and this a great place to stay on vieques.

Beautiful and Centrally Located
The bedrooms are big, kitchen is well-equipped and the apartment has everything needed for a day at Black Sand Beach - beach chairs, Bluetooth speakers, extra towels and Visitor's Guide. Elsie is very responsive to any and every communication.

Convenient and Clean
The apartment had spacious sleeping accommodations and was clean. Shops and restaurants in walking distance with a great Puerto Rician bakery out front. On street parking was easy to get, property is set back from the main road a bit so it cut down on some of the street noise.
