The location of the reception office is extremely inconvenient and hard to find. They charged 60 euro for tourism tax when we checked in, despite Expedia listing it as 30 euro. You have to either pay 8 euro each for a water bus to get from the reception to the apartment itself, or walk half an hour through the maze of streets that you don't know to get there because they do not provide transport between them (they'll charge 8 euro each to transport your luggage for you, but then you still have to walk there). The location of the apartment itself was great. It was massive and had super comfy beds and was beautiful, with heated towel racks in the bathroom even. There was an annoying buzzing sound that was coming from the locked closet in the bathroom that was going on the whole time, but that was likely an electric issue with the hot water heater. The place could have been cleaner. The couch had obviously not been vacuumed in a while. All in all, it was a really nice stay. The reception situation could be FAR improved, and being charged double for the tourism tax definitely put a damper on our stay initially, but the apartment itself was lovely.
