Breathtaking view, no hot tub
The view from the terrace is breathtaking - just perfect. The location worked well for us as it was only a short, flat walk into Varenna. All furnishings were comfortable and the property was well equipped for dining.
I had chosen this property over another as it had a hot tub on the terrace. On arrival it was clear that this was not working and hadn’t been for sometime. I contacted the local agent who confirmed this, explained that this should’ve been removed from the listing and thanked me for raising this. Hot tubs make rentals more expensive and therefore, I expect to get what I have paid for. I’ve had no further contact regarding this matter and I’m saddened that I didn’t receive better customer service.
We had an amazing stay and I’m torn as to whether I’d recommend this place. It worked well for our party of 6 (3 couples) and I’ve already said how breathtaking the view was. The downside was that lack of advertised hot tub and the place is a bit shabby in places.
