Old Musty Odor Cut Stay Short
We do not recommend this Stay! Unable to stay due to very strong old musty odor throughout the entire house. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very strong odor. The house appeared to be clean and the space was exactly as pictured. We can only assume the odor was from the old stained carpets in both bedrooms. After contacting the owner we were instructed to open windows as he thought the odor was from the bleach he used to clean. As we arrived late we resorted to trying to sleep before making any decisions. The stench was unbearable and made sleeping next to impossible. In the morning we made alternate accommodation arrangements. We politely informed the host that we would be checking out due to the odor and requested any kind of refund for the remaining stay (5nights) The host's response was very delayed and we were told to cancel through VRBO. We contacted VRBO with our concerns. We have not received any communication or refund from either the owner or VRBO. Very disappointing. We have stayed in a few VRBOs. This was our first negative experience. I would not recommend this stay

Peter was extremely responsive and accommodating to check out time request. He made it very easy to stay in his VRBO. Would stay again without any doubt.

The house is nice and very clean. It is well equipped. However I would have liked to be informed before booking that there was a suite occupied by tenants in the basement.

Clean, comfy and centrally located
This lovely spot was perfect for our family vacation. Located conveniently in Port Moody, it is easy to get to downtown parks and museums as well as drive out to the mountains. The three bedrooms are spacious and 1.5 bathrooms are perfect for sharing. The show stopper was the beautiful kitchen with all the cooking supplies you could need. We even enjoyed a few drinks on the back porch. Definately rent this house if you want to be in a nice quiet neighborhood near the water.

The Property was centrally located for who I needed to see. Close to shopping, sky-train. It has all the utensils you need, even a washer and dryer. Awesome for the price. I would recommend this place.

It’s a cozy house, we are out and about most of time and it’s a nice comfy place to come home to at the end of busy and activity full day. I just wish the pillows are more fluffy to firm.

Place was very clean, very easy check in. Host was responsive quickly with questions. 5 min walk to a number of great restaurants (Spacca Napoli, Originals Mexican And Black Sugar were fabulous). Only draw backs were TV couldn’t access live sports and you could hear tenant in downstairs apartment. Overall great stay 👍

Great place!
Didn't expect to find an entire house but we did! The reason we looked in Port. Oody is because it's close to where my 97 yr old grandma is staying and we're able to easily hop over to visit. Has everything you need! Only complain is the glass table in the living room. My wife and I have ran into it many times on the 1st day because it's so big and almoat invisible in the light and also light coloured carpet. Our poor shins! Massive bruise came out of it 😂 we learned our lesson and placed newspaper at each edge so we can see it and not run into it 😂🗞️
