5/5 Excellent
"Great location, solid value for the money, parking close by, best price for the $$ on the Upper East Side. Rooms are small, but comfortable. No room fridge or microwave, only real negatives to speak of, otherwise no issue."
A verified traveller stayed at voco The Franklin New York, an IHG Hotel
"Literally the *only* issue we had was that the room temp could not be set below 70F. The front desk told us the hotel's AC hadn't been turned on for the season yet. We prefer to sleep cold, so we opened the windows about an inch each, and the hotel gave us a box fan to draw in the outside air. Once we did that and shut off the room fan (with its 70F air), things cooled off quickly. But if it had been a warm or stuffy April week instead of nice and cool outside, we would have been miserable and likely had to find another hotel for our stay."
A verified traveller stayed at Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan/Upper East Side
"What a great hotel!.. so pleased with the friendliness, attentiveness, and support from the staff… feels like a bit of a throwback to a classic era from the minute you walk in the door!"

"The Lowell is a delightful small hotel with excellent amenities and a great location. There are comfortable areas for sitting and relaxing, which is an added bonus. The staff is courteous and responsive."
