A nice hotel centrally located. Do not go for a standard room unless you are comfortable with clambering in to bed from just one side. Hotel lobby is very nice and good to sit in and have a drink and watch the boats. The breakfast is really, really good, with so much on offer.

Well located hotel with great views from high floors. Really good breakfast. Friendly staff. Only downsides were no parking and, like lots of Norway, the top bar was closed over Easter weekend.

The hotel is in a great location with wonderful views over the habour where we were even able to see the Northern Lights from our bedroom window. The hotel offered everything we needed, with spacious rooms and great buffet breakfast. We would definitely recommend this place and would easily stay here again!

We are just back from a four day stay to celebrate a 60th birthday. The hotel has a lovely, spacious, modern feel. The rooms were plenty big enough and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with an enormous variety. The hotel is brilliantly placed by the harbour, shops and all the pick up points for trips. A very enjoyable stay!

This hotel is well located and has good breakfast but although we paid $1,200.00 for three nights for a Superior room they gave us the smallest hotel room I’ve ever been. It was horrible. Avoid it if you can.

We had a great view from our room. All around a great hotel with a smashing breakfast layout. Don’t miss the freshly made omelette by the Greek cook. Truly a first class affair. Unfortunately they don’t serve lunch. Skybar is a gem. You can see the Aurora from there on a good night. They need to put a gym and a pool with a spa and a sauna to make it perfect for anyone’s stay.

The Breakfast was outstanding!.. the Chef will make you an omelette in front of you and it’s by far the best omelette I’ve ever had!.. the whole breakfast in general was amazing. We stayed on the 11th floor and the views were breathtaking. Absolutely recommend this place

Great view over the harbour for certain rooms. Easy to use safe. The fridge would have been great had it worked, but despite a light shining there was no cooling inside. Maybe due to being in a tight spot with no ventilation around it. It was well stocked though. Rest of room and facilities were very good, with plenty of light switches and mains sockets. There was a great selection for breakfast which we all enjoyed. The hotel is a very short walk to most of the meeting points for the various tour companies and the sky bar terrace provided a great lookout on our first night for the Lights!

Everything was easy and nice. I just wish that the hotel helps out a little more on the taxi service. We used the hotel provided iPad to order one at 4am, and there are so many people got stranded at the hotel lobby. I wish they told us the tip to pre-book a night in advance or at least a warning about the taxi delay!

Overall good spot, food service was excellent and although it had large number of guests we were all catered for. The heating is controlled by the hotel and can be too high. The bathroom have shower bath to climb over edge not recommended for elderly. Beds comfortable. Central and easy to access all touristic attractions It is typically Scandinavian minimalist

We decided to go to Tromso for reindeer and the lights. Unfortunately we had bad storms so didnt see the lights in Tromso. However the hotel is ideally placed with fantastic views over Tromso and everything is nearby. Friendly and welcoming staff, would highly recom.

The hotel was a great location, very clean and food was great but above all that the staff were all so helpful, even putting together a last minute request for a birthday celebration. Great location. Staff really friendly. Only problem we were on level 2 above the breakfast area so got woken up by that, so bring earplugs (which we had so it really wasn't too bad). Overall, hotel great, breakfast great. Skybar an amazing feature just a shame it isn't open everyday! I would definitely recommend this hotel.
