"Smart Apartmment-Style Hotel."
A five minute walk from the main station, Rome Termini. Easy to find if you know it's next to a cafe bar, Agora (which is where the hotel breakfast is served). Just buzz the hotel button & the multi lingual receptionist lets you in. There is a lift (or stairs if feeling energetic) to the 4th floor. The receptionist is knowledgeable, friendly and spoke excellent english and showed us our room. The reception has a small kitchen and comfortable seating area so guests can prepare drinks and snacks. The room was spacious, very clean with a large wardrobe with drawers a large tv & a small seetee & coffee table. The en-suite shower was clean & the water was hot. Lots of new towels were provided daily. The beds were very comfortable & it was surprisingly quiet at night being in such a built up area. The local area had a number of small family run restaurants and bars which we went to in the evenings. As we were near the station the restaurant cliente is a good mixture of both locals & different nationalities. We felt safe walking around at night. There is a small market outside the hotel most mornings where we picked up fresh fruit for the day ahead. The surrounding street have small useful local shops from diy stores, bakers, mini supermarkets & pharmacies & there is quite a big shopping mall with clothes shops, restaurants &supermarkets inside the station which is open at night. The coaches from the airport stop near the station, & conveniently leave from outside the station.

Unfortunately, I had to complain about inaccuracy in advertising. Noted that indoor-pool, and not specified having pay to use it as a payment for access to the spa.

"Helpful, friendly, comfortable beds,,,"
Comfy stylish rooms and loved the feel of the place...more local apartment than hotel (which I guess is the point...) Particularly thankful for the hints and tips we received...have been lucky enough to visit Rome several times and they were news to me! It will definitely be up there next time we're in Rome. Some don't like the's a little rough around the edges but there are so many great restaurants nearby (including Fassi's Gelato just around the corner!) and we never felt unsafe. Really convenient for Termini if you're travelling elsewhere in Italy or to the airport of course...

"Very nice hotel near the main Termini station."
Rome is a place that you absolutely must see , and this small accommodation is an excellent destination for a start . Everything is close . You can use the subway , which is only 200 meters far and which is the best link for all or you can take a walk . My suggestion is to walk because every street has something to see and enjoy.

"Good location, good price"
We wanted a hotel just for one night sleep close to Termini station, and this hotel fulfilled that. It is a very simple place, but clean and quiet. It was a little hard to find it at night.

"hotel conveniently located by the train station"
Good hotel, conveniently located just a few blocks from the train station. Staff was excellent and very helpful! rooms are big, clean with great furniture, the bed was comfortable, however the Wi-Fi internet connection was VERY bad and the TV is extremely small. Breakfast under on the other hand was a little disappointing, it's not much just coffee and some croissants or yogurt and that's about it, don't get too excited about free breakfast, I would call it a small morning snack. They will hold your bags at no charge after you check out if you need them too. location is good also being that is so close to the train station and Metro. The elevator is on the smaller side, two people the most could get in there, but not with large bags, if you have a larger bag then just one person. From the outside it is a little hard to find and looks a little bit run down area, you will need to press the button from the outside it's like a gate and they will open the door, as soon as you open the door you get inside it's nice, Rome is quite dirty city anyway, I don't believe Rome has any clean areas anywhere. I would stay at this hotel again if I'm back in Rome.

Vacanze Romane 2 - Rome Hotels

Vacanze Romane 2

Via Cairoli 31, Rome - Map
"Perfect location, reasonable accommodations"
We booked our trip last minute, and we were fortunate enough to happen upon Vacanze Romane. It is not a hotel, but rather an extra room in this kind gentleman's apartment. When we arrived, the gentlemen greeted us at the door and showed us to our room. His wife had prepared a homemade tort for us, along with plates and napkins. Anselmo quickly went over each of the accommodations to the B&B. We had a private bathroom down the hall, keys to the apartment to come and go as we pleased, as well as one to the room. We felt very safe at this location. The room was also quiet at night with a fairly comfortable bed. The bathroom was a bit interesting, with the toilet located in the actual shower, but the gentlemen went in at the end of each day and tidied up the bathroom and dried everything off. The apartment sometimes had a sent of incense and cigarette smoke, but where we slept the odor was not strong. A window to our room lead out into a courtyard. The open window allowed for a cool comfortable breeze into the room. The gentleman and his wife are very kind and hospitable. The place is not a B&B in the traditional sense. Breakfast is provided via voucher tickets that you are able to take across the street to the local cafe and receive a cappuccino and brioche/croissant. Anselmo was very gracious to allow us to stow our luggage on the final day after checking out in order to return after seeing our final sights.

Pocket Guide: Termini Central Station, Rome Pet-friendly Hotels

Rome’s central train station, Termini is the entry point to the city from Fiumicino Airport, and is an impressive modern architectural sight. Between here and glamorous Via Veneto, there are several interesting places to visit. The Palazzo Barberini is a superb baroque palace, the Terme di Diocleziano was the city’s largest bath complex and the Church of Santa Maria della Concezione is remarkable for its Capuchin monks’ crypt.
