Great place at a great value. The service is EXCELLENT. The staff is super friendly (typical NZ service level in my experience), and accommodating. I cannot recommend enough. The place was roomy, quiet and comfortable. The lake is just across the road and there is a beautiful path you can walk! This place is just a short drive from a lot of lake side attractions (took a cruise on the lake to the Maori carvings). Again, can't recommend enough. Wonderful place and top service.

The property was in close proximity to where we were going. The room was very quiet and there was no road noise. Really hot shower. The bed was a good size but uncomfortable on one side. Decor is outdated and needs freshening up.

Pleasant outlook towards the lake from our unit. The resort was full at the time but we heard little noise from anyone. Comfortable unit for the price.

A little bit dated and beds uncomfortable. However we only stayed for a night so wasn't an issue. The customer service was excellent and breakfast was nice. I would stay here again if it was only a one or two night stay.

Was a great accom, the reception was accomodating with our request and no issues with all rooms. Just would be nice having cutlery or dishes for when we bring food to eat at the motel, but apart from that was great

The property has lots of parking. The air conditioning was a small fan which made a terrible noise, pool was aplunge pool next to the road farthest point from accomodation, most uncomfortable mattress have ever tried to sleep on, shower over bath with fixed hose set at about 5ft, I like many am over 6ft and the water pressure was that of an elderly man with prostate issues. Hotel would not grant extra hour for check out so my son who was there for a sports event could have a shower before we travelled. All in all one of the worst experiences we've had, 2 stars was not being mean!

We had an upstairs room which was spacious and clean. Comfortable beds for 2 night stay. No issues with other guests. We left clothing behind and it was handed in and will be held for us to collect. Staff very helpful

The property is good value for the money. Several rooms have been updated although the one we were is has not been updated yet. Staff were helpful. Food was comparable to a lot of restaurants.

Loved the pool. The room was tired and dated. Very hot in the room with no air conditioning and wall heater had a cool setting but was broken. Portable fan broken as well. Very dusty sock under armchair from previous guests. Budget accommodation.

We recently stayed at the lakeland resort, while the staff and service were great the rooms were a little dated and lacked air conditioning.

Nice helpful staff. Having a pool was nice. Lovely to walk along the lake from the hotel but quite a way out of Taupo. The restaurant on site was good if you didn’t want to go into the town
