Tidy, well-equipped motel room with outdoor grilling/dining available. We ate next door at terrific cafe with excellent view of river and mountain. Sunset was amazing. The motel was across from the river which was beautiful itself but also offered a walking track out to the ocean. Highly recommend that as well. Great place for great price.

Woongara motel is likely our go to from now when we visit the beautiful town of North haven and surrounds or for a stopover. The motel is perfectly positioned opposite the lake and short drive to the beach, cafes nearby. The place was nothing short of perfect -- great pool with a tropical vibe; rooms were spacious, clean, well equipped with all kitchen essentials and ample wardrobe space; modern and clean bathroom; large parking spot right in front of the room. Overall great stay, highly recommend!

What a gem to stay at
What a wonderful place to stay. My first time in this area. Water opposite motel. Located close to cafe, club and supermarket easy drive.. Motel room was lovely and inviting , very comfortableand tastely decorated.. Great communication during and before my arrival. Highly recommend staying here. Look forward to a return trip...

Good quiet spot. The bowl sports club offered a good dinner (it was Boxing Day, so was delighted to find some where was open)

Check-in was a breeze. The staff were helpful and friendly. So close to the inlet, within walking distance to the beach and the river baths, not to mention the Cafes and club.

Perfect place to stay. Right opposite the water. Great walk, saw dolphins & even a grey nurse shark. Had dinner next door at a fantastic pizza restaurant. Would most definitely stay again.

We were very happy here for a stopover on our trip to Queensland. The check in was all remote so we just showed up and went straight to our room. Room was clean and large and while it was a little dated, the bathrooms had been renovated. Certainly very comfortable for a day. Easy walking distance to the local RSL club for dinner. Staff were almost invisible and weren’t able to be contacted on phone. But there were no issues.

Our family of four stayed here on our way up to QLD. The room was clean and provided all the usual comforts but it was a tight squeeze with a queen bed plus two singles. The beds were comfy, the bathroom had been recently renovated, there was a new fridge with separate freezer and the WiFi was fast - even with four of us on our devices simultaneously. There was a club within easy walking distance for dinner.
