What a lovely, homey place to stay, although our stay was brief, we felt relaxed the moment we walked in the door. On our travels, we’ve stayed in around 6 different accomodations, my teenage daughter said this one was by far the best.....

This place is absolutely amazing. Seems like we were the only people there and we wished we had stayed longer. We were there with our 10 month old and there was so much space to play on. They have a pool a t.v. room and an absolutely amazing outdoor area. I would imagine this place would be packed in summer time. The cabin was spotless with everything you need. Our baby has his own room we brought our portacot. It honestly is the best cabin we've stayed at so far. Will definitely be back.

The beautiful surrounds, the peace and the free bikes were great. Plus the opportunity to book with a personal trainer gave me options to either take it easy or ballistic. Let's have a drink and think about it.

Long Winter Weekend among the Gum Trees
I was in Old Bar to go to a weaving workshop and I stayed in Blue Gum Cottage, one of 4 timber cottages set in gardens encircled by tall gum trees. I shared the 2 bedroom cottage with a friend and we were very comfortable with the log fire at night and warm air conditioning in the morning. One evening we found 4 fresh eggs had been left for us on the porch. We poached them ate them with avocado on toast. Delicious. I hope I will have another opportunity to stay at Clintern Lodge.

Stephanie, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Fresh eggs, tranquilitiy and log fires..it doesn't get much better than that in winter. Would you believe, we installed a new bunk bed in Bluegum cottage last week. Banksia cottage bunk will be replaced next week. Thank you for your feedback, it is much appreciated.

A Woodland Hideaway
Our short stay was business related rather than a holiday so we didn't have time to sample all that Chiltern Lodge has to offer but the surroundings were beautiful and we loved having breakfast early and watching the ducks and kangaroos/wallabies grazing a few metres away.

Amazing facilities and staff

Overwhelming comfortable and serviced
This place was peaceful and tranquil. The ammenities were second to none and everything was provided. The owners anticipated all of our needs and provided them. They were even able to cater to the needs of our baby. Not a think was over looked. I highly recommend this property.

Fabulous family getaway
We loved the self contained cottage as we could do our own laundry and cook meals easily. The rec room had so many games and movies available and the outdoor kitchen with pizza oven was well used by us! The pool and spa were lovely and the children loved playing in the cubby and collecting eggs from the chooks in the mornings.
