"The Empire Hotel is located in a clean, quiet safe area with a one minute walk to the nearest subway located at 59 St-Columbus Circle. Outside the hotel there is always a cab or Uber nearby if you don't want to walk. There are several coffee shops, convenient stores and a deli located nearby. Central Park is literally a five minute walk from your hotel which allows you to have a relaxing twenty minute scenic walk to all the major sites located on 5th Ave. Plus the service at the hotel is excellent. I highly recommend it."

"I have stayed a the Westgate 3 times in the last year. The rooms are great. Since this is a renovated old hotel, each room is unique not cookie cutter like many new hotels. The staff is friendly and accommodating. On my most recent stay my room was at the back of the hotel so there was very little street noise. I will definitely be back."
