Very nice property :) Daily free breakfast was enjoyable. Front desk staff is always pleasant. Room itself is spacious and clean. Daily amenities and towels replenished. Worth the price. Glad I chose this hotel.

The breakfast food option is amazingly rich, and I am glad to get to enjoy the new coffee machine they just installed when I checked in. Very friendly and helpful staff, convenient airport pick up and drop off services. Occasionally the wifi signal inside the room gets a bit unstable, if some wifi booster/ extender can be installed in the future, that would be great. Thanks again!

The room is very clean,spacious and modern. It really provides an ambient atmosphere. The hotel is about 15 min walking from Taipei main train station. Lots of restaurants around the hotel.

Normally I would give this hotel a better rating but there is one major issue which is why wouldn’t book the hotel again, something is dusty in the room or probably it’s the down blanket or carpets but after 5 minutes in the room I would start sneezing. Every morning I woke up with a puffy face and I am not even allergic to downs. At one point I could hear someone in the neighbour room sneeze around 20 times in a row. My friends checked into a different hotel after the firs night because he was very allergic. Please change the pillows and duvets.. otherwise the hotel was really great. I like the free self service laundry, that was convenient.

gave up 2 nights due to discomfort and allergy
Had to give up 2 nights of stay out of 4 nights because of the discomfort staying in the room. The room is filthy and possibly caused us allergy. Both myself and my partner got allergy (running nose, cough and itchy skin) whenever staying in the room but immediately recovered once stepped out. Pillow cover was dirty, having black marks on one side. We could hear very noisy sounds from water pipes whenever other guests from next rooms turned on their water which was extremely disturbing especially around mid-night. There was also around 20seconds of electricity outage in one night. Light bulb of a table lamp also fell out.

The staff at Ambience were absolutely incredible, so helpful super attentive and pleasant. The room was perfect for us, clean and tidy, it had a bath as well as a shower, desks to sit at. The hotel is in a good area, within walking distance of many attractions, and close to a subway for further trips. I would highly recommend this hotel to travellers in Taipei.

A great hotel with helpful staff
I stayed at the Ambience Hotel for a week, including New Years. The staff were very helpful in calling possible places I found online and even recommended a place with a great view of the Tower 101 fireworks! My adult daughter and I shared a King sized bed. The room was not spacious by western standards, but it was comfortable. We were a 10-15 minute walk away from the metro/train, and there were lots of restaurants close to the hotel. The daily buffet was small, but had something for everyone, and varied every day. We appreciated the snacks the hotel provided in the fridge. I would definitely recommend the Ambience Hotel to my friends and colleagues!

Wonderful staff, great breakfasts
The staff were extraordinarily warm and helpful. Steve went out of his way to get us setup the first night we arrived, and Sabrina helped us many times throughout our stay. In addition, the breakfasts were delicious and filling.

Nice place to stay
It is a family visit, close to the place. The hotel is clean & comfortable, the only negative point is a bit far from metro station & noise as at the corner of major traffic.

I have stayed st least a dozen times at the Ambience and it just seems to get better and better. The Elite rooms are spacious and the staff are quite magnificent. I have already booked my next visit.

A 3* Hotel Offering Great Value for Money
1. The hotel is rated as a 3* hotel but it was listed as a 3.5* hotel under Hotels.com; it should be properly listed under any and all public media to be consistent with the rating that is internationally recognised. 2. There is no fish eye security viewing lens on the room door for security protection for the hotel guest. 3. There is only one 220V electric socket in the guest room, but it is in the washroom, which is therefore making any use of laptop computer at the desk inconvenient.

The customer service at this place is top notch. The day before I checked out I had gone up to the front desk asking for a taxi for the next day to take me to the airport. By the end of the conversation the front desk attendant scheduled for a wake up call and a complimentary sandwich before I left. Again, great customer serivce at this place.

The hotel staff were amazing - thankyou Emily and Mei for going out of your way to help and assist us at all times. The hotel is clean, bright and has excellent bathroom supplies. The hot breakfast options were changed every day and were very tasty. The all day tea/coffee and biscuits were great and bottled water was freely available. The staff were amazing. Nearby seafood options were excellent, as with other eating options. About 1o mins walk to MRT options. Lovely light and airy feel to hotel. Totally enjoyed my stay there and would recommend to others. Little bit away form centre of hustle and bustle providing little more local feel and great eating options, but also easily able to reach metro stops.
