Fantastic Hidden Gem
Had another fantastic stay at Armadale House for Hogmanay. House was spotless, smelt fresh and very well equipped. A positive experience despite being a very warm house and regulating temperature was tricky. Having such an early check out (9am) did spoil our last night as was having to pack and tidy up to be up at 8am and away by 9. Just one negative in what was a brilliant stay, looked to book for next year but not available 😢😢😢😢😢 Will definitely be back.

What a lovely little hidden gem
The entire family truly enjoyed our stay in Portmahomack. The location is perfect right by the sea, post office/ kiosk and lovely long walks to the light house. Such a nice quiet area of calm and if needed take the car to Invernes for bigger selection of groceries. Also right in center to the famous whiskey distilleries Glen Morangie, Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, Macallan etc. Lovely trip

Lovely views but needs some TLC
Great views and the most comfortable luxurious beds. However too many little things wrong. Windows don’t work properly and one is broken. Tumble dryer didn’t work and as there was no garden or airer provided this proved to be challenging. As it is across from the beach a broom would have been handy. Tv only had a few channels and no itv stations. Living room is nice but really only one comfy chair. We had our two year old with us and the broken window plus trailing blind cords proved rather dangerous.
