I believe the parking is a bit harsh as you pay $40 a night to garage your car but if you go out at night there might not be a park available and you have to park in the street even thou you have been charged $40

It was great to be across the road from the beach- just a bit odd not having a front desk and using another hotel’s front desk.

If I could give more stars I would. So impressed with the cleanliness, comfort, staff, and LOCATION. The Manly lifesaving club is at your doorstep, the corso a couple blocks away. Pools are beautiful and we were welcomed by the most friendly, helpful reception staff I’ve ever had at a hotel. We can’t wait to go back.

We had a lovely 4 days at the Sebel hotel. Our ground floor room opened onto the outdoor pool which we enjoyed several days. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only drawback was the noisy air conditioning but we did get used to it. The hotel is right next to Manly beach - a perfect spot for anyone who love the ocean.

We had a great room, 511. Good pool with sunshine to 6 pm in January. It is an Annexe style hotel to Peppers so at the rear and no views. Excellent location near beach and dining options. I would stay here again, but we did get a special deal cheaper than the normal rate.

I am aware the team at the time noted the Air-Conditioning was working, however being one of the highest recorded Humidity Day in Sydney, we did face some challenges. The Following morning we offered both our maintenance team to check the room to ensure everything was working properly, as well as a room move.I also note that you were provided a microwave as soon as it was requested on the first night. We also ran a speed test on the Wi-Fi in your room for over 24 hours after your departure. The Average speed came back as 48Mbps peaking at 92 when we offer a complimentary capacity of 100Mbps. I appreciate this is slow in comparison to 5G and by the end of January we will have an increased capacity of 1Gb complimentary for our members and guests.Thank you again for helping us to perform at our best,Luke GibbsGeneral Manager

Ordinary hotel in a great (general) location
The Sebel and Peppers are run by the same company. The Sebel rooms are in a block behind, but not connected to Peppers. The laneway in between is full of bins and junk. Our room had a glimpse of the beach. It was pretty run down. The plug was broken on the bedside light. The bathroom sink was cracked and stained. The bathroom floor was dirty in the corners. Hair in the shower. TV only has basic free to air stations. Great general location with proximity to the beach, but not really up to scratch for the price.

I am sorry to see we fell so short of the mark.Whilst we try to be as transparent as possible in relation to the room, furnishings and that The Sebel is located in a separate tower to Peppers, it appears there is a concern with the distribution information on Hotels.com. Regardless of that, the biggest concern raised is that of cleanliness which is certainly unacceptable for this property. As you can see this is not regular for us. Our Housekeeping Manager sends her deepest apologies for the lack of care taken when servicing your room. Please rest assured your feedback has been addressed with the staff members required and allowed the Housekeeping team to amend their on-boarding plan for quick-corrective action to ensure this does not happen again.Thank you again for helping us to perform at our best,Luke GibbsGeneral Manager

A happy celebration.
Ideal location -- just a short walk to cafes and beach. Enjoyed walks to Shelley Beach and snorkelling in marine reserve. Great ground floor room with easy access to the pool. Good BBQ and table for a group, though we didn't use it.

What a fabulous place! The Sebel now Peppers has a fantastic location with so many dining options nearby and the beach right across the street. We were in a non-refurbished room and the only suggestion would be to change the bathroom configuration. The toilet paper gets wet with shower. Consider creatin an entirely enclosed shower to avoid drenching the entire room. Bed was great, people were lovely and helpful and the self-service laundry was really good.

Enjoyed my stay very much, great location, staff very friendly and helpful. One small thing though, at the prices being charged, a few snacks would have been nice. It felt like a down market hotel in that sense. If you stay, try and afford the rooms with a view worth every cent!

Love the location but there was no water in any rooms as they don't like to use plastic..... which I understand. But there are such things as glass bottles! Or at least a carafe of filtered water in the rooms would be expected for the $$ we paid! Also bed lamps were not working.

Grocery store also close if you want to get supplies . Opposite the beachfront and balcony offers great spot to watch the waves and passing parade on waterfront. Room has kitchen facilities as well as a full size fridge and crockery. We were able to enjoy a family dinner in our room for my husbands birthday with our 2 daughters getting some deliscious Thai from just around the corner. This is our second visit to the Sebel at Manly and again enjoyed an excellent experience. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay here. We used parking that was available on site at extra cost but was well worth it.

Property is in an iconic location opposite Manly beach on the relaticely quiet one way end of South Steyne. The property was very clean and well maintained. While our room was large with a large balcony on level 3 it looked directly into a unit not part of the property. While not a big issue, the restaurant and bar was independently owned which meant charging to room wasnt an option.

Great spot for a family stay in Sydney. Good access to the northern beaches, but also the city. We would definitely stay here again.
