Cold water tap did not work in shower, no extra blankets or pillows. No enough tea, coffee, milk or sugar, no complimentary biscuits. Foot stool looked unclean. No little table in corner or extra chair so 2 people could sit at table and eat a meal together. No screens on window so you couldn’t open in early afternoon when it it was warm. Rydges used to be good, what happened?

Bathroom dated and shower over the bath was dangerous. Breakfast buffet was very dreary. Bed itself completely clean. Skirting boards were grubby. The room itself was far too small for twin share and only having one chair was poor. The staff were friendly and welcoming. However, I would not stay again.

Overall it was reasonably priced for what you get! -Could definitely do with new plumbing/fittings as the taps screech everytime you use them that is after you turn the tap 3 times before you start getting water haha - Bedding/beds were nice and tidy and clean and quite comfortable, blackout blinds were great considering I slept during the day being on night shift work! - Lighting (or lack of) was disappointing, there is one downlight at the entry and a light in bathroom, the rest of the room has no lights so you have to use the multiple lamps around the room in order to see which still isn’t much light but it’s manageable - Foyer and lifts are nice and everything is key card access which is very convenient, plenty of parking! - Conveniently located directly next to a maccas which is great for those late night Icecream runs

Checked Out Early - Very Disappointing
The room was dirty complete with mould on the bathroom ceiling and stains on the towels and bedding. The entire hotel was rundown - not the usual standard I’d expect from a Rydges. The bed was really soft with no back support - I personally experience back pain when I sleep on soft mattress. I contacted the front desk twice to see what options were available - they were unable to provide any alternatives (would have been happy to pay to upgrade our room) - we left after the first night of our 3 night stay. The water pressure in the shower was great - everything else was disappointing.

Staff were great, some only when they seen you. Property is clean, could use an update but $$ are tight everywhere. Parking is easy and free. Stayed for 3 nights, card didn’t work on third night had to get a new one. Room service didn’t answer phone on third night, so that was disappointing. But overall maybe a 3.5 to 4 stars

Place had lovely staff Really quite in need of a renovation. Had a king spa suite and i wasnt going to use the spa and the bed was so uncomfortable. The majority of the room doesnt have any lighting fitted. Ample around the bed and entrance. But a single lamp for the remainder.

Room was great, was big and comfortable. Bathroom was nice and big too, not clean though, could see wee marks on the toilet and floor, towels were like they were ten years old. Sheets smelt clean but had black mouldy marks on them, pillows were old and it just smelt dirty and old. Needs a good clean.

Rooms especially the bathroom was not clean, I had urine on the floor around the toilet and random hairs. The bath tap leaked continuously. The lift, corridors etc were very dated with damaged skirting and old paint. Rooms were not replenished with milks and coffee, towels not changed or folded daily.
