The only issue I have is the ventilation in the room and on the floor that we are at (the top floor). It's always very warm in the afternoon and mornings, making it quite uncomfortable when you come back from outside. I understand it's central control but some kind of regulation should be installed for individual rooms.

Nice property, good service. Only two little concerns is the air conditioning in whole hotel for all rooms, not air conditioning in each room. And while there we had a fire alarm but was not told what happened, I’m assuming it was false alarm but could’ve let people know.

We are family of 3 adults and stayed here for 4 nights. What we like: 1. Hotel is close to shopping mall and also there are many restaurants near by. Nice park on the other side of the two-way road. 2. Near to bus station and you can catch bus to almost any part of Sydney. 3. Hotel staff was friendly. What we didn't like: 1. We selected the room with the park view from expedia but we are allocated the room with the opposite view. 2. Room was a bit congested. 3. There was not enough hooks for hanging your clothes in room and also in bathroom. 4. Windows were locked and there was no way to get the fresh air and felt suffocated sometimes.

We are sorry if you missed the milk supplied in your room for your coffee/tea or perhaps our housekeepers overlooked that. We are always happy to provide amenities at any time. We are very fortunate to share parking with the Broadway Shopping Centre and so reasonably priced @ 45 overnight. We wish you all the best for your future travels.

Our rooms are quite spacious although all are not the same size due to the architecture of the building. We have various room types all with windows except the standard rooms. For a little extra cost than the standard rooms we offer City Queen rooms and Park View Queen Rooms as well as our family rooms.Thank you for staying with us and we welcome you back.

All fine for a one night stay close to the Aware Theatre. Walking distance to venue and transport/food options close by. Exceptionally warm welcome on arrival. Bed comfy but the room lacked a window: ok for just one night but not for an extended stay. Breakout lounge in the middle of the floor was good. Broken shower screen door handle (from previous guest) was reported on the way out.

Our large common area is very popular with guest who like some space outside their room and to sit at a table with their laptops. BreakFree on Broadway is well located on popular Broadway which is a no standing zone. The taxi driver took you to the closest safe space to disembark just a short distance from the front of the hotel. Our breakfast is very popular and we are proud to serve a large variety of breads for toasting, muffins, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice and a variety of coffee options and teas. The coffee machine is on each morning from 7am to 10am while breakfast is served. We look forward to welcoming you back.

Over all the property suited a need for a room. I have a few unfortunate issues, however Julie was great and got them sorted. Great for a place if you just need a bed and don't spend much time in the room (just smaller and no space for work- they do have a public space though).

Staying at the BreakFree on Broadway was great. Julie (at reception) was always friendly & helpful. The room was adequate & clean. 24hr Coles nearby, transport readily available. Would stay there again on another visit to Sydney!

Good hotel, but rooms had no windows
The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable. The staff were very polite. Breakfast was usyal choice for continental breakfast. But we only actually stayed 1 night out if the 3 nights booked. I wasnt aware at any point that the rooms we had booked, had no windows, or that the air con was controlled by the hotel. So for me and my son who has asthma, it felt claustrophobic, being in rooms with no windows and unable to alter the air con ourselves. After some negotiation with the hotel and hoteks.com I will be reimbursed for the 2 nights we didn’t stay.

Many guests book them because they like a dark room to sleep, and these rooms are quieter than those facing a street. Sometimes it was too cold. Sometimes it was too hot, and we had to call reception to let them know. It would’ve been better if we had our own control in our room about the climate.

The property is very convenient to the University of Sydney and to the shops and restaurants on Broadway. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my room was right on the busy street with a street light outside my window. The curtains did not cover the window making the room very bright through the night and a lot of street noise filtered through.

It was a nice place for the location and the price. Room we booked was small which was expected but didn’t expect the bathroom to be that small. There was no room to put our stuff and if we were any bigger we wouldn’t be able to fit on the toilet, way to close to the shower! The shower leaked and the shower head was all blocked up.
