Positioned on the first floor of a heritage1870's terrace, the renovated apartment boasts a large well-appointed kitchen, dining/lounge area, generous bathroom with a

step-down spa bath and shower, and balcony, which overlooks vibrant Harris Street.




The two bedrooms are quiet, with the master featuring a comfortable king size bed and plenty of wardrobe space; the other features a king single, conveniently located on the same level as the bathroom, kitchen and dining.




Everything you need to make your stay comfortable is provided including washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV, air-conditioning/heating, linen, towels and free WIFI.




With public transport at your doorstep, you can be in the Sydney CBD within 10 minutes or head there by foot over the Pyrmont Bridge. From your front door, it's just a short walk to Star City Casino, Sydney Fish Markets, and Darling Harbour as well as renowned cafes, restaurants, local pubs and two supermarkets, plus a bookstore, electric bike hire shop and multiple car share vehicles within a 100-meter radius.

"Maintenance & Booking Policy Note:

We are committed to providing efficient maintenance services. However, please be aware that we can only attend to maintenance issues during regular work hours. Callouts cannot be confirmed on weekends (Fridays 4 pm - Monday 10 am) and public holidays, as well as outside work hours (after 4:00 pm - before 9 am, Monday-Friday). We understand the importance of prompt repairs and will respond to all requests within 24 hours, arranging tradespeople during work hours.

Our deposit policy requires a 50% payment at the time of booking, and credit card transactions will have a non-refundable fee of 3.5%.

Week in Prymont Harris St.
Great location for Harris st and easy walk to downtown Sydney! Big Bus tours stops right outside your door! Loved having coffee in the morning on the wee balcony, even though it is a busy street.

Poor management. Some serious quirks to property.
A couple of positives: The neighborhood is good if you like old-school city feel of hustle/bustle, easy to walk over bridge to CBD. Apt was renovated with good quality and aesthetics. Negatives: badly managed by a corporate entity. L’abode treat guests like suspected scammers. Terrible communications. A half-dozen maintenance issues. A collapsed couch (honestly, two broken legs!) a barely-functional a/c system, lamp falling apart, balcony table wobbly unusable. No apology on couch, 2 days later offered (threatened?) to replace “sometime between 7 am and noon”. A/c seems not to work very well. It’s a hot apt with br in attic. Never got much cooling from units and they shut down after a few minutes. Tub/shower is installed with top of tub level with floor. Getting into the shower involves stepping down 40+cm (1.5+ feet) to get in. You can sit on the floor and slide in for safety but there isn’t much room is no handle to steady you in or out. Yikes. Balcony is narrow but nice if table were fixed. EXCEPT, it is adjacent to a very active bus stop. No fewer than one bus every 10 minutes pulls up within 10 feet with machinery at level. Deafening. Stairs to br are quite tricky. They bend around awkwardly and have no handle at that part so you have to negotiate angled wooden (slippery treads) to get to bathroom in middle of night. Security: No security lock. Anyone with code could get in any time. Creepy. Overall, recommend looking elsewhere until owner gets new management.

Great location
Spent 5 days in Sydney from this great location in Pyrmont. Fish market a must see and the light rail so convenient to everything. Enjoyed lunar new year in Chinatown. Anytime fitness across the street. Had a bathroom sink and dishwasher drain issue that hopefully was fixed quickly. They were very responsive when contacted.

Warm and uncomfortable - Disappointing
The location is excellent and just a short walk from supermarkets, restaurants, bars and public transport such as the ferries from Darling harbour. The flat itself is spacious and the kitchen very clean etc. The main issues are comfort. The air-conditioning in the living room does not function very well and leaves the place very muggy. The 2nd bedroom has no aircon, the window has has no flyscreen so you have to balance being roasted vs. being bitten alive. Combine this with the fact there is a skylight that cannot be covered so you get awakened to a very bright room at sunrise negating the need for any alarm. The shower/bath is below ground level and so is down a very big step without any handrails which is fine if no mobility issues but this is not stated in the listing. As two of us were over 65 this would have been useful to know as we struggled. The sofa is like sitting on concrete and could do with being replaced. The check-in process with L'abode was very cold and far from welcoming. They make you feel liek you are walking on eggshells. Despite Sydney prices being high overall this place was not worth the price we paid.

Great stay and responsive management. We had a wonderful stay, and the location was a great fit for our needs. There are air conditioners, which is better than nothing, but they have to work hard to make it tolerable. Lovely neighborhood with all the necessities wanted. It is easy to access other great locations around Sydney. The bus stops right outside the front door, which is convenient. The convenience of the neighborhood does lead to a lot of city noise. There are a lot of stairs, so if that is a challenge, I would suggest this may not be the right fit.

Great location but the bathroom is terrible
The apartment is in a great location. It is a very short walk to the Prymont Bridge, and is an easy walk to downtown and the Rocks. The neighborhood around the apartment is nice and there is a great coffee and breakfast place (Social Brew Café), a very good bakery (Pioik Bakery), and a nice pizza joint (Crust) within a block of the apartment. It is also a very short walk to a grocery store, a wine shop and a few bars. The apartment itself is small. The secondary bedroom is tiny and drafty. The kitchen/dining room/living room space is “cozy,” but workable. The kitchen is fairly well equipped and was clean. The upstairs bedroom is nice, very quiet and the bed is comfortable, but the main bedroom is upstairs from the only bathroom. The one bathroom is a nightmare. You must step down into a bathtub that is below floor level in order to take a shower. There are no handrails or anything else to hold on to while stepping down into the tub, so it seems like an accident waiting to happen. I could go on about the issues with the bathroom, but the website limits the length of these reviews. The other annoyance was that we were only provided with three towels for a six-night stay by three people, so we ended up buying additional towels to avoid having to constantly wash towels. Although the washing machine worked well. Except for the bathroom, the apartment was pleasant and workable, and the location was great. But I probably would not stay here again.

Beautiful apartment. Great location.
Really enjoyed our stay. Property was as described in a fab location. Short walk to Darling Harbor. Apartment was really pretty. Well set up and property manager was so lovely and helpful. Only negative was issues with wifi which were easily resolved and how to turn on TV 🤣😂 turns out it wasn't plugged in anywhere and needed an extension cord which we found but never found the USB charger for wifi and used our own. The property manager was very helpful though when we called. All in all a fabulous stay xx
