Close to light rail and central station. Also close to Darling square dining precint. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool and gym looked good however we didnt use. Restaurant onsite also looked good but we ate out. Would stay again.

Nice hotel for the money you pay. Clean, good personal. Excellent location close to china town and shopping malls . 5 min walk to central train station from where you can get to the airport

I love the location - walking distance to Central Station and in Chinatown.

Enjoyed my stay checkin is at 3 I got a early check-in at 10. Lovely spacious room. Very close to restaurants, train stations, tram , Darling Harbour, supermarket . Restaurant in Hotel great food and cocktails. All in all a great experience will be coming here again.

Hotel conveniently located by Central station for travel needs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dennis at check-in desk was especially helpful. Room was comfortable with great beds and quiet. Wonderful overall experience.

Location - perfect for all sightseeing. Quiet.
Big bedroom - comfortable beds - helpful staff. An older hotel (previously 'Novatel') has been given an obvious 'lick'.
Food mostly good but we returned 2 dinners. One unedible (refunded) and the other with only one piece of Pork belly in the middle of a big plate for $32 did nothing for our appetite or wallet! (They did offer us to pay only $16 each - but that was way too much for what was offered!
This is why one star is missing.

Loved everything about this place! The room is very clean and comfortable. The bed was fantastic. The shower was wonderful.
The breakfast buffet is absolutely incredible! So many great options. You can even make your own fresh pressed juice.
All of the staff were friendly and wonderfully helpful. Really could not ask for more.

Family of 4 adults stayed in the property; however, the wifi was limited for use of only 3 devices!! It’s 2024, not 2004!!! Seemed like they have a code for visitor but it wasn’t even offered.
We were welcomed (maybe unwelcomed) with an empty body wash bottle. Next morning I placed the bottle on the edge of bathtub with the bottle opened so housekeeper easily notices. Unfortunately it was not refilled and replaced at the entrance (meaning that the housekeeper recognized).
I concluded that I expected too high because the property was “managed by ascott”

Excellent hotel; the beds are really comfortable, staff are very friendly, the rooms are nicely decorated and modern, and the hotel offered things such as room service, etc. I did not get to order from the hotel restaurant as I only stayed one night, however the menu looked great. Very clean room.

Clean beds and sheets, comfortable mattress and clean bathroom. Not providing water in the fridge was disappointing. The reception confirmed they do not provide bottled water in rooms which was surprising for me. (He gave me 2 bottles for free once). Carpets need deep cleansing. Room lightings need improvement.

Good location, close to Paddy's and the trams. The property and room were modern and clean. Parking is right next door and reasonably priced. I'd definitely stay here again.

Location to public transport, my favourite Asian cuisines, Chinatown and the Chinese Friendship gardens, the Darling Harbour precinct, access to major tourist events and parklands for breaks and people watching. Second time staying here, again excellent, hotel is in a great location for amenities and only four stops on the train from the airport to Sydney Central.
Best part of the holiday as last year, the staff, if anyone reads this from the hotel, your staff are amazing, helpful friendly and professional. Superb.

The overall stay was great. Our rooms were ready before the check in time, the staff was very cordial and helpful. Rooms could use an update. The hotel is changing brands from Accor to Ascott, which wasn't clear when booking (it didn't impact our choice but would have been good to know beforehand).

The location is great, hotel is very clean too. Nice comfortable beds. However the gym and pool are small which is a pity. Breakfast is average. If you don't need to use the gym or the pool, this hotel is a great option.

I highly recommend the Novotel Central Sydney the room was spacious and the beds great. The location is so convenient and easy to walk to all the tourist attractions. The staff were so lovely and kind and they went out of their way to help even sending us a lovely platter on our 7th night. We had a slight hiccup with housekeeping and they rectified this quickly and efficiently. We will definitely be back this year!

Large room with beautifully made beds, great to have a balcony. Great breakfast with eggs to your liking.

Hotel was reasonably priced and included breakfast buffet. Breakfast buffet had the usual expected hot and meal options. Fresh fruit juice machine was good.
Hotel was in a great location. Close to Chinatown, Darling Quarter, Darling Harbour and easy to hop on train to Pitt Street and Circular Quay.
Pool was not huge but kids enjoyed it.
Rooms were a little dated but were reasonably spacious and it was nice to have a little garden patio area.
Lifts got very busy in the mornings and often had to wait a long time.
There is a car parking building next door and discounted rates through the hotel. However the parking card the hotel gives you often didn't work and we encountered other hotel guests who had the same problem.

Parking needs to be better defined. We were given a 24 hour pass to come and go as required, but still ended up paying $45 on checkout and then another $27 upon exiting despite our card being validated for one 24 hour period.
