I didn’t like the people next door to me made too much noise I had to tell them to keep it quiet it was after 11 The doors didn’t have working door closers so they would slam shut keep waking me up The bathroom shower would clog up with water

Good for a solo travel short weekend stay, room had basic amenities and the area is convenient being 2 minutes from Rockdale station. The staff were happy to help when I misplaced my room keycard. Was generally pretty quiet, the bathroom doors were difficult to lock and unlock and the hot water takes a long time to heat up but otherwise it's fine.

The property was very clean and safe. We loved the well maintained unique 1940’s design and fittings. The beds were comfortable; however, the street lights which made the room very bright due to inadequate window coverings and high traffic noise made it very difficult to sleep. We had to place face cloths over our eyes to block out the light. The pub downstairs was open until 4am which created a bit of noise if patrons were rowdy. Overall, it is a clean and well kept hotel, so if you’re looking for a cheap and secure place to stay close to transport then this is ideal. Thick curtains that cover the entire window/s would be a very effective solution to the light issue and enable guests to get a good nights sleep.

Very hot and humid upstairs, No AC, Ceiling fan on 3 doesn’t even blow onto you, Very noisy place, Bed linen was stained and had stains running down the walls, Room was never cleaned

No pillow cases on the pillows. A pile of what I assume are old sheets on the floor of my room. It appears the room was serviced, but not completed. Other than that the room was about normal for a low priced pub. The hot water in the shower took a while to come through. Toilets and showers were clean.

Probably just because they’re are shared bathrooms but the curtains for the shower were gross. the curtains in the rooms were really dirty but the actual room was fairly clean. Service was pretty good as well

The room was clean, bed well made, budget friendly place. The VIP lounge was advertised everywhere, checking in at the bar was quick, the door slamed shut to my room, had to make sure I shut it slowly, room a bit care. I did like the sink provided in the room.

I was prepared for shared bathroom etc, but not for those facilities to be limited, one shower was out of use, as was the washbasin in the room. Apart from that, the room was OK for one.

Very basic accommodation, ceiling fan didn't work so was very hot and stuffy, only one working shower in ladies bathroom for whole place, very noisy with traffic on main hwy. Bed was comfortable with clean linen which was the only good thing.
