I'll start with the negatives and end with the positives.
I wish when I had booked my double room with ensuite bathroom that I was told where the room was and how many flights of stairs I would have had to climb. Top floor furthest room away in next building. I suffer from asthma and by the time I first made it to my room, I thought I'd have to call an ambulance as I could hardly breathe. So....if you are elderly, pregnant, have a heart problem or suffer from asthma or any respiratory problems, check first where the room is that you have booked. There are a lot of steps even from the street up to the reception area. In the end, I found it easier to use the metal stairs outside to get up to the top floor. The shower would be scorching hot for a few seconds and then go to cold and then to freezing within seconds which continued during each shower so that wasn't a pleasant experience. The positives are that the young girl at reception carried my suitcase up for me and brought it back down when I was leaving. The Reception staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The room was impeccably clean and quiet and the location is perfect with just a short walk to the ferry. It's in a beautiful area with many lovely restaurants about a 10-15 minute walk away.
